Happy holidays! I hope you are enjoying the season with loved ones all around. For so many, all of us included, the holidays are the toughest time of the year. After all the food and engagement with loved ones is done, it seems awfully quiet. Every human experiences this lull....looking around to those we have lost that we used to see regularly. Sadly, some of our dearest friends pass away on us, when we least expect it. Some of our other besties move to another state (painful). Others just seem to drift away and we wonder about the emptiness we feel. The devotion of this day ministered to my heart. The Lord is before it all. He knows...people left Him, rejected Him, abused Him and yet He moved forward in his loss and pain. Of course, He is God and knows all things but He was also human. I'm thankful He walked this journey as we do, knowing that as friends come and go, He never leaves us! He is preparing us for our future....new friends, new challenges, new victories! He loves us so! You are NEVER alone. I pray today's devotion is a blessing to your soul!

For those of you who weren’t loved as you should have been as a child. For you who don’t have the relationship you long to have with your family. If someone you love has turned their back on you. If your heart is broken by any rejection…the Lord will take you in. He will wrap His arms of love around you and offer you all He has. Belonging. Healing. Wholeness.

Turn to Him. He is watching over you, He has your back, He cherishes you, and He understands the tears you have cried. You are not alone. ♥️
