Citizens for Choice, along with PARTNERS Family Resources and the Nevada County Superintendent of Schools (NCSOS), would like to invite you to the 4th annual Latino Family Festival! 🥳💞🤩

More than 30 local organizations will be on site, offering information about: health and wellness services 🏥, educational programs📚, social support🎗️, art 🖼️, and more💐.  Bilingual staff will be available to assist families in accessing resources/information in both English and Spanish.

This free, family-friendly event is a vibrant celebration of Latino cultures and a chance to build community connections.  Everyone is welcome to join an evening filled with music, dancing, family fun, and helpful local resources. Citizens for Choice will be tabling, so come on by our booth and say hello!👋🏼😍🤗

Last week, the California Legislature passed a budget bill that includes $15 million to backfill the loss of Title X federal funding. Now, we must call on Governor Newsom to support backfill in the final state budget — which will be finalized in the coming days!

We need collective action NOW to

For over 50 years, Title X has been a lifeline to communities across California — providing access to birth control, STI testing and treatment, cancer screenings, and more.

But for over 2.5 months, 350 health centers across California have not received any Title X federal funding due to HHS unjustly withholding California’s Title X award.

We cannot allow this key part of our health care infrastructure to disappear.

Here are two easy ways you can help TODAY:
