Cancer. This is a condition that most of us have a fear of. My mother passed away during her battle with brain tumors. An amazing woman was lost by all of our family and friends. One thing she did have was strong will to survive and never gave up.
I have had many come to my office asking if Hypnosis can help in their battle against cancer. I had done some research on hypnosis and cancer. There have been some evidence of tumors actually shrinking with regular cancer Hypnosis sessions. I have not found where Hypnosis alone would cure cancer. Only that hypnosis treatments for cancer could help. I have read where there have been tumors that reduced in size during hypnosis treatments for cancer. Could also add to that hope people have when fighting cancer.
I use hypnosis to assist a person's body in fighting off and destroying cancer cells. I assist them in reducing discomfort and pain. I help them to keep that bright and happier outlook on their life. I never claim to have a cure. I only offer an alternative treatment. That may really help.
Unfortunately, in order for this treatment to have an effect it must be done regularly. Many people question if this is ethical or taking advantage of people that have terminal illnesses just to make money. I feel the same way. I have never charged anyone with terminal cancer for cancer hypnosis sessions.
Having had a cancer scare myself (fortunately for me I was that 1 in 100 with that condition where it was not malignant) my heart and prayers go out to all out there that are inflicted with it.
