Brave Meadows is owned, was founded and is operated by Shannon Patrick who is a school teacher. Shannon has devoted her time, her own personal horses, and much private income to the wonderful center she founded, and whose inspiration was her Uncle Marc who had Downs Syndrome and loved horses. Most of the Therapy Horses at Brave Meadows are former rescues on their way to being shipped to slaughter before Shannon stepped in and gave them a second chance at a better life. Please contact Shannon to arrange a therapy appointment as Shannon is also a school teacher with obligations connected to that.
