Is a hormone holiday necessary?

Have you experienced persistent low energy, mood shifts, decreased libido, and a general feeling of being unwell? Has this occurred within months following childbirth? Have you been using birth control for several years? Many women are unaware that birth control methods function by suppressing natural hormone production, which regulates menstrual cycles and prevents unplanned pregnancy. Your birth control medications may be contributing to your unpleasant symptoms. For some women, taking a brief hormone holiday can allow the body to reset and naturally restore hormone levels, returning to a normal state. We are happy to announce that telehealth services have been reapproved and will resume operations on Monday. Several patients have been without access to healthcare due to their inability to physically visit the office, and we plan to reconnect with you this week to reinstate your care.
