🎃 This is Halloween at Northern Pines 👻

We cannot thank our wonderful community enough for all of your kind and generous donations 🖤🧡 providing candy and sweet treats not just for the trick-or-treaters, but for the smiles you put on the faces of our residents as well!

While we certainly enjoyed our yummy pizza and Frankenstein punch, the true highlight of our day was seeing our community show up for our residents. There’s nothing quite like the joy of watching our residents’ faces light up as they see all the kids in their amazing costumes!

Thank you again for helping make this Halloween extra special — your kindness truly made our day! 🎃💜 🖤🧡

Pumpkin carving was a smashing success— literally! Our residents tried out a new carving technique this year using stencils and a mallet... and let's just say, the mallet may have stolen the show🤣 Between the laughter, flying pumpkin pieces, and creative masterpieces, it's safe to say this new method was a big hit (literally) and we ended up with a batch of beautiful (and slightly dented) pumpkins🎃

👻🍭 Oh no… Seymour Candy’s big night is creeping up fast, and his belly is still rumbling! 😱 Our mischievous candy monster has been snacking, sneaking, and nibbling, but he still needs a few more sweet treats before Halloween night! 🍬

If you’d like to help keep Seymour from turning into a hangry little monster 😜, we’re still accepting candy donations for our residents to hand out to all the adorable trick-or-treaters! 🎃

It's time to party with our pretty in purple Miss Betty! 💜 🎉 Today we’re celebrating our fabulous Miss Betty! The lady who proves every day that life is simply better in purple! Your bubbly personality, warm heart, and radiant smile brightens all of our days. We hope today was filled with laughter, love, and maybe a few extra shades of your favorite color! Please join us in wishing Miss Betty the happiest of birthdays! 🎂🎈💜

We are always so thankful for all of the love and support our community shares with us! Huge shoutout to Mary, our wonderful shower aide with Optimal Care Hospice, for spreading so much joy this spooky season! 👻 🎃

She provided pumpkins for our residents to carve and create their own Halloween masterpieces and she didn't forget about Seymour Candy either! Mary helped fill his belly with yummy treats to get him ready for Halloween night! 🍭 🍬

🍎✨ A big THANK YOU to Shelby from The CareTeam, Home Health & Hospice for hosting our delicious Cider Tasting & Donut Event! 🍩🍁

Our residents had an absolute blast sampling all the tasty flavors — though it was no easy task picking a favorite! After some serious “research” (and maybe a few extra sips 😉), the Honey Crisp Blend took home the gold as our crowd favorite! 🥇🍏

Shelby, thank you for being so sweet and for bringing such a fun (and tasty) treat to brighten our residents’ day! ❤️

🎃🍬 MONSTER ON THE LOOSE! 🍬🎃

Uh oh… rumor has it there’s a sneaky little monster wandering the halls of Northern Pines! His name is Seymour Candy, and he’s got one thing on his mind… TREATS! 👀🍭

Seymour’s tummy is rumbling, and he needs your help! He’s on the hunt for candy donations to help our residents hand out goodies to all the little trick-or-treaters this Halloween. 👻 Our residents absolutely love seeing the kiddos in their costumes, and we want to make sure everyone gets a sweet surprise! 🍫🎃

If you’d like to help feed Seymour Candy and fill his candy stash, please stop in and fill his tummy anytime before Halloween.

It was another great day of Bingo fun with our wonderful residents! The room was full of smiles, laughter, and a little friendly competition. 😉 We love seeing everyone light up when those lucky numbers are called!
