We sure know how to celebrate Fat Tuesday around here! 💜💛💚

Our morning kicked off in the sweetest way possible with “Pancakes & Pajamas!” Residents rolled in rocking their coziest PJs and enjoyed pancakes stacked high and loaded to the brim with every topping you could imagine — syrup, whipped cream, cheesecake filling, fruit, chocolate chips and M&M’s….you name it, we probably put it on a pancake! 🥞 Let’s just say, no one left the table hungry!!

And just when we thought our sugar high couldn’t go any higher… our wonderful friends from Compassus Hospice came to the rescue (or the trouble 😉) and spoiled us even more by bringing delicious paczkis! 🍩💜

Full hearts, full bellies, and maybe just a little extra energy in the halls today! We love celebrating together and are so thankful for community partners who help make our days extra sweet!

We’d like to officially report that Valentine’s Day was EXTRA sweet this year…One of many big thanks to Shelby and Marie from The CareTeam Hospice! 🍓💕

They showed up with delicious homemade strawberry shakes, and let’s just say… there were absolutely no complaints. Not even from our toughest critics! 😉
Our residents were sipping, smiling, and maybe even trying to negotiate seconds. 😄

Thank you, Shelby and Marie, for making our Valentine’s Day so sweet and for always treating our residents with so much love. You two are the real cherries on top! 🍒💕

Yesterday Miss Char was busy celebrating her birthday with her wonderful family, so we patiently waited our turn! Now it’s our turn to shower her with all the love, laughs, and birthday cheer she deserves.

💌 Hearts Across America is officially underway! 💌

We began receiving our very first cards and Valentines in the mail from our Hearts Across America initiative—and opening them together today was nothing short of magical. ❤️

The joy, kindness, and love that poured out of each envelope quite literally brought tears to our eyes. Smiles were shared, happy tears were shed, and our hearts were completely overwhelmed by the thoughtfulness of so many caring people near and far.

To everyone who has already sent a card: thank you for filling our home with so much warmth and happiness💗 This love means more to our residents than words can express, and we can’t wait to see where the next hearts come from! 💕

🍬🎲 Sweet Fun & Serious Competition! 🎲🍬

Today our residents tried out a brand new game called Candy Dice Roll—and let’s just say… we learned real quick who’s cut-throat and who’s ruthless! 😏

There was candy given, candy stolen, turns skipped, and a few unlucky players who had to put their entire loot back in the pot! 🍫💥 The laughs were loud, the competition was fierce, and the suspense was real.

In the end, everyone left smiling—and yes, everyone still went home with candy. 🍭❤️

What’s more fun on Groundhog’s Day than life-size Whack-A-Mole?! 🦫🔨

Our residents had an absolute blast getting a little playful aggression out on “Phil” after he saw his shadow and sentenced us to six more weeks of winter ❄️😂. Laughter, big swings, and even bigger smiles all around—who knew Groundhog’s Day could be this therapeutic?!

We are thrilled to be participating in a nationwide opportunity called Hearts Across America! ❤️🇺🇸

Our residents have a big (and fun!) goal: To receive a Valentine from all 50 states. As cards arrive in the mail, our residents will place a heart on the state it came from on our U.S. map—watching the country fill with love one Valentine at a time.

💌 How you can help:
Send a Valentine or postcard and help us spread love across the map! Every card means a smile, a connection, and a heart added to our journey.
