Today we got an early taste of St. Patrick’s Day magic thanks to Shelby from The Care Team Hospice! She showed up with all of the ingredients in hand to make us the most delicious homemade shamrock shakes!☘️🥤

☘️🌈Even though it was a cold, icy day outside, we brought a little luck and sunshine indoors today!
We spent the afternoon creating beautiful St. Patrick's Day tissue paper suncatchers. With bright greens, golds, little touch of rainbow and plenty of creativity, each one turned out just a little different and oh so beautiful!

It may not have been very lucky weather outside, but inside we were feeling pretty lucky — sharing laughs, crafting together, and adding some festive color to our windows🌈☘️

There’s something truly special about gathering together in worship. We love our church services with the wonderful Chaplain Karen — her warmth, her words, and her spirit bring so much joy and peace to our residents and staff alike. These moments of faith and fellowship are one of our favorite parts of the week.

Whether it’s a familiar hymn, a word of encouragement, or simply being together in community — we are so grateful for the blessing that Chaplain Karen is to our family here.

There’s nothing quite like a good story time.

Resident Mr. Lynned’s wife captured not only his attention, but the attention of several other residents as well. She often reads to him when she visits, and she was kind enough to share that special moment with others who gathered around to listen.

The room quickly filled with quiet smiles, curious ears, and the comforting sound of a story being told. Moments like these remind us how something as simple as reading together can bring people closer and brighten everyone’s day.

We spent the day reminiscing, sharing stories from years gone by, and telling one another why we’re lucky. From lifelong friendships and loving families to simple everyday blessings, our hearts (and our room!) were filled with smiles, laughter, and our lucky treasures☘️💚

Christina, Andrea, and Trisha proudly represented Northern Pines Assisted Living tonight at the Grayling Regional Chamber of Commerce Gala Awards!
We are so honored to be part of such an amazing community and to stand alongside so many incredible local businesses, leaders and organizations. It's a privilege to serve our residents and families each day, and evenings like this remind us just how special our Grayling community truly is.

Today our residents had the joy of being part of Resident Care Specialist Maverick’s big gender reveal. We all gathered around his adorable son, cupcakes in hand, waiting to see the color inside that would reveal whether he’s getting a baby brother or baby sister!

We think big brother got a little camera shy at the big moment, so Dad had to step in and lend a helping hand 😉 But that just made it even sweeter!

Please join us in congratulating Maverick and his wife on their brand new baby GIRL! 👶🎀 We are so excited for your growing family and can’t wait to spoil your newest little one with love (and probably a few extra cuddles from our residents, too!). 💕

We had a toe-tappin’, heel-clickin’, floor-stompin’ good time thanks to the amazing Just For Kicks Clogging Group! 👞🎶

They came in and gave us one HECK of a show — and let’s just say, if enthusiasm burned calories, we’d all be ready for swimsuit season. 😄 The energy, the smiles, the fancy footwork… whew! We were worn out just watching (but in the best way possible).

It’s always a guaranteed good time when they visit, and our residents absolutely love every minute of it! Thank you, Just For Kicks, for kicking up the fun and keeping our toes tapping! We can’t wait to have you back! 💃🕺

We sure know how to celebrate Fat Tuesday around here! 💜💛💚

Our morning kicked off in the sweetest way possible with “Pancakes & Pajamas!” Residents rolled in rocking their coziest PJs and enjoyed pancakes stacked high and loaded to the brim with every topping you could imagine — syrup, whipped cream, cheesecake filling, fruit, chocolate chips and M&M’s….you name it, we probably put it on a pancake! 🥞 Let’s just say, no one left the table hungry!!

And just when we thought our sugar high couldn’t go any higher… our wonderful friends from Compassus Hospice came to the rescue (or the trouble 😉) and spoiled us even more by bringing delicious paczkis! 🍩💜

Full hearts, full bellies, and maybe just a little extra energy in the halls today! We love celebrating together and are so thankful for community partners who help make our days extra sweet!
