Today we were honored to celebrate Martin Luther
King Day with an incredible group of young leaders

A huge THANK YOU to the Grayling High School Student Senate for volunteering their time to come spend the day with our residents doing what they love most - playing BINGO!!!

Laughter filled the room, friendships were made, and the excitement was contagious. To make the day even more special, we wrapped things up with a cover-all BINGO for our final handmade quilt, so generously made and donated to us.

Moments like these remind us how powerful community, kindness, and connection truly are.
Thank you, Student Senate, for making this day so meaningful for our residents!

Today lunch was extra fun because everyone became a pizza chef! From piling on the cheese to choosing the perfect toppings, our residents had a blast creating pizzas made just the way they like them. The laughter, the smiles and the amazing smells made lunchtime even better!

Hands-on fun, happy hearts, and delicious slices all around — now that is a perfect pizza day! 😄🍕

As we say goodbye to another wonderful year and welcome a brand new one, we want to wish everyone a Happy and Blessed New Year!

We ended the year doing what our residents love most-BINGO!!! The excitement was extra
special as we gave away a grand cover-all prize, a beautiful handmade quilt that was so generously donated by one of our amazing volunteers who also comes in to share her beautiful singing voice with us.
We are truly blessed to be part of such a caring and supportive community that continuously goes above and beyond for our residents. Your kindness, generosity, and heart make all the difference, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you.

Here's to a new year filled with joy, laughter, connection, and many more Bingo wins!

🔥🏀 Good Luck, Firebirds! 🏀🔥

We want to wish the Firebirds, girls basketball team of Kirtland Community College, the best of luck tonight! Not only have they been working hard on the court, but they’ve also gone above and beyond off the court—raising money to donate Christmas items to our residents.

Thank you for your dedication, generosity, and big hearts. Your hard work truly makes a difference, and we are so grateful for all you do. Go Firebirds! ❤️🔥

Beyond today’s matchup, we’re also proud to highlight the meaningful work our students are doing in the community. Last week, members of the Lady Firebirds team visited River House Shelter and Northern Pines Assisted Living to kick off the first phase of their Holiday Giving Project. They toured the facilities, learned about community needs, and began planning ways to support families and residents this Christmas season.

The next phase is underway, with students collecting donations and funds to purchase gifts from holiday wish lists. Deliveries will take place next week, helping bring joy to local families and residents before Christmas.

• Drop off cash donations
• Bring cans to the coach’s office anytime
• All proceeds go directly toward gifts for River House families and Northern Pines residents
