Every day, it’s important to practice self-love. 💕

Ask yourself each morning:
“What can I do today to honor and love myself?”
“What can I do to take care of myself?”

For me, one way I honor myself is by always keeping fresh flowers in my home 🌷— they instantly lift my spirit. For you, it might be a slow walk in nature, a warm bath with essential oils, wrapping yourself in a soft blanket and reading your favorite book or enjoying a bit of "me time" with stillness and gratitude.
When you love yourself fully, you radiate that love into the world. 💕

For Meat Eaters: How Much Is Too Much?

I'm seeing type 2 diabetes showing up earlier and earlier — even in people in their 30s and 40s. In response, many turn to high-protein, low-carb diets.

Yes, protein is essential for blood sugar balance.
But too much animal protein—like red meat, poultry, eggs, and cheese—can quietly stress your kidneys, especially if you have a genetic predisposition.

*For most healthy adults: If you're eating animal protein, aim for organic one palm-sized portion per meal, 2–3 times a week.
*Make it a meal, not a plate of meat — balance it with vegetables.

Healthier Protein Choices (especially for blood sugar & kidneys):
• Moong dal, lentils
• Tofu, tempeh
• Unsweetened yogurt
• Nuts & seeds (in moderation)
• Fish like salmon (omega-3 rich)
• Quinoa
Ayurveda reminds us: It’s not just what you eat — but how much and how often. Balance is the key.

Are Your Meals — Medicine or Poison?

In Ayurveda, it’s not just what you eat — it’s what you can digest that truly matters.

If you consume something but can’t digest it, it becomes poison.
If you can digest it, it becomes food.
If it enhances your digestion without harm, it becomes medicine.

But when your digestive capacity is compromised, even the healthiest food can turn into toxic residue (Ama) and lay the groundwork for disease.

So, eat what you can digest.

Not All Herbs Are Right for Everyone

Lately, I’m seeing many people in my practice taking herbs randomly without knowing if they suit their unique body constitution (Prakriti) and imbalances (Vikriti).

In Ayurveda, herbs carry potent heating or cooling energetics that make them medicinal — not just food.

For example, Neem is very cooling and bitter, great for excess heat like rashes or inflammation, but it can worsen conditions if your body is already cold and dry.

Pippali (long pepper) is warming and stimulating, helpful for sluggish digestion or cold conditions — but not for someone who runs hot.

Please don’t take herbs without knowing if they’re right for you. They can do more harm than good when used improperly.
