AI tools like Athleas are changing how therapists work behind the scenes. Travis shares that having real-time summaries and session transcriptions makes documentation, coding, and compliance far more efficient. Instead of spending hours on paperwork, therapists can focus on what matters most, patient care while still feeling confident everything was done right at the end of the day.

Pain in the body often limits deep breathing and natural movement as the nervous system braces to protect the spine. Over time breathing becomes shallow and inefficient because rib cage muscles stop activating properly, leading to long term breathing dysfunction and movement restrictions.

Science says: feet ➡️ knees = biological age under 30.
Us: say less 😌

But the truth of it all is it’s a fitness myth, not a real medical or scientific test.

Jumping from your feet to your knees does show:
• Good lower-body strength
• Power and coordination
• Joint mobility (especially hips, knees, ankles)
• Confidence / lack of fear 😅

But it does NOT actually measure biological age.

👉 Biological age is usually estimated using things like:
• Cardiovascular health
• Muscle mass and strength (grip strength is a big one)
• Balance and reaction time
• Metabolic markers (cholesterol, glucose, etc.)
• Bone density

There are legit movement-based longevity tests (like sit-to-stand tests or grip strength), but “feet to knees = under 30” is social-media science, not peer-reviewed science.

That said…
If you can do it easily? You’re probably strong, mobile, and athletic, which often correlates with feeling younger. So the vibe isn’t wrong… the claim is just exaggerated.

For Marcelo, structure creates freedom. He’s up by 4:30 every morning, prioritizes sleep, and sticks to a routine that fuels both his physical health and mental focus. Discipline, for him, starts the night before.

This is a go-to exercise to improve breathing and support the spine. It’s simple, functional, and can be done with a ball or even pillows on a couch. Slow, controlled movement with proper breathing is key, and alternatives exist if needed to make it accessible for everyone.

Marcelo believes challenges are all about perspective. If you see them as problems, they hold you back, but if you see them as opportunities to learn and grow, that’s where progress happens. It’s all about how you respond to the life situations you come up against.

Your lungs sit inside your ribs, connected closely to your spine and lower back. Tight muscles from pain and shallow breathing make both your ribs and lower back stiff. Over time this stiffness increases discomfort and limits movement in other areas of the body.

Marcelo treats time like his most valuable asset. With every minute planned, he pushes to get more out of the one hour he has, running faster, lifting smarter, testing his limits. As a father of three, he believes discipline and time management are what separate growth from excuses.
