World Bipolar Day is celebrated annually on March 30th, coinciding with the birthday of Vincent Van Gogh 🎨 This gifted artist was later believed to have been diagnosed with a bipolar disorder — highlighting the fact that many individuals throughout history and across the globe have lived with this condition.

Today, let's come together to raise awareness and deepen our understanding of the different types of bipolar disorders while supporting those who experience them. Importantly, this day serves as a reminder to break the stigma surrounding bipolar disorder, affirming that individuals living with this mood disorder can thrive and pursue wellness 💙

For the officers of the Frederick Police Department, , responding to a call often means meeting someone on one of the most difficult days of their life. Increasingly, those moments involve behavioral health challenges.

Through the ongoing Carbon Valley and Mead Co-Responder partnership with North Range, the Frederick Police Department has integrated behavioral health professionals directly alongside officers, ensuring people in crisis receive compassionate, immediate support. In recognition of that partnership and the department’s dedication to mental wellness, North Range Behavioral Health has named the Frederick Police Department its 2025 Community Champion for Behavioral Health.

March 2nd is World Teen Mental Wellness Day! 🌎✨

Today is for to raising awareness about teen mental health, because — let's be honest —being a teenager is really tricky & tough part of your life! Between big life changes, big emotions, and big pressures, this is also the time where a lot of mental health struggles/conditions like anxiety, depression, and attention disorders start to show up.

📌 According to NAMI, 1 in 6 U.S. youth aged 6-17 experience a mental health disorder each year — and 50% off all lifetime mental conditions begin by age 14.

It can be hard to know if mood changes or signs of stress are just a phase or something more serious. Fortunately, hope exists & help is available -- whether that's through talk therapy, teen support groups, school- or family-based support, medication treatment, or other forms of recovery/healing 💝
