Privileged to speak at the International Association for Identification conference in Orlando. And an added privilege to see my good friend Jan LeMay inaugurated as President of this excellent group of crime scene analysts.

Next week I’m privileged to present Psychological Survival in a Violent Career to Breckenridge Police Department and the First Responders of Summit County. This eight hour training is intended to be preventative to younger professionals and curative to those who know the effects of multiple exposure to trauma. I am grateful to those who extend themselves physically, emotionally, and spiritually so that others can live. And I want to be a resource for them. Wednesday, 8-5 at Colorado Mountain College in Breckenridge.

I’m very excited to present an abbreviated version of my training “Psychological Survival in a Violent Career” at the 105th Annual Educational Conference of the International Association for Identification in Nashville on Monday, August 2. I intend to use my time to address the issue of existential despair within the field of law enforcement and crime scene investigation.

Today I have the privilege of providing my training,
Psychological Survival in a Violent Career to the Rocky Mountain Division of the International Association for Identification. I always consider these opportunities as an honor to give back to those who do so much work behind the scenes to bring justice to often horrific crimes. Today we have the lovely backdrop of Blackhawk, Colorado.

Very excited to provide training to the Colorado Bureau of Land Management and to the Western States Sheriff’s Conference in Reno. I’m so grateful for the work these men and women do and I look forward to contributing what I’ve learned in more than 25 years of working with First Responders.
