Make Waves with WHALE!

We’re excited to help spread the word about the 3rd Annual Waves of Love Giving Luncheon benefiting WHALE Respite Center, our mission partner doing incredible work to support children with developmental delays and disabilities and the families who care for them.

The Details:

• Friday, April 10, 2026
• 11 AM – 1 PM
• Aims Community College | Greeley, CO

Guests will enjoy lunch, inspiring stories and the chance to connect with others who care deeply about building inclusive communities. This event supports affordable, inclusive childcare and respite services for children ages 6 weeks to 18 years across northern Colorado.

Lunch is free, but registration is required. We encourage you to invite friends, colleagues and anyone who wants to make a difference.

Our latest blog, “Understanding the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding,” explains how the SOS Approach to Feeding supports skill development through gradual exposure, sensory exploration and child-led progress.

We also share practical strategies families can implement at home to help reduce anxiety and build positive food experiences over time.

Parents often notice the earliest signs at home.

Developmental screenings help identify areas where a child may benefit from extra support, whether that shows up in communication, movement, social interaction or daily routines. Some signs are easy to spot, while others can be more subtle and easy to miss.
