Join me on March 7th!
Dr. Phyllis Markham-Richelieu
Dr. Phyllis is one of Chiropractic's unsung heroes. Following a terrible car accident that killed her fiancé, she sought the care of Dr. Clarence Gonstead to help her with her injuries. She was so impressed with her results that she decided to become a Chiropractor herself. Dr. Gonstead recommended enrolling at Lincoln College of Chiropractic in Indianapolis because they were teaching Full SPOine work, whereas Palmer College, Dr. Gonstead's Alma Mater, was only teching Upper Cervical care at the time.
After graduating, Dr. Phyllis returned to the Mt Horeb area with 4 classmates, one of whom she married while at Lincoln. On a Sunday these 5 young doctors gathered at Dr. Gonstead's clinic so he could teach them what he was doing. That meeting lasted only 10 minutes. Dr. Gonstead told them they had to leave as they didn't even know what they needed to know in order for them to learn what they wanted to know!
Dr. Phyllis pleased with Dr. Gonstead and he gave them a list of material to learn and only then would they meet again. After weeks of study, they gathered again and the 5 young doctors were truly impressed. Dr. Phyllis told Dr. Gonstead, "You have to teach this. Everyone needs to know this." To which, Dr. Gonstead replied, "You organize it and I will teach it", and that is exactly what happened.
Dr. Phyllis and her husband Dr. Ted Markham sold their practice in Beaver Dam, WI and moved to Mount Horeb where Dr. Ted organized and managed the seminar while Dr. Phyllis ran Dr. Gonstead's X-Ray department for many years.
For years I sat with Dr. Phyllis nearly every day, listening to her explain how to interpret the films and use them to get the best results possible. Join me on March 7th and 10am CST so I can share that with you.
