This week, a teal ribbon was painted outside the Emergency Department at HSHS St. Vincent Hospital as part of the “Paint the Town Teal” initiative - recognizing Sexual Assault Awareness Month and standing with survivors in our community.

We are proud to host the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program on behalf of several community hospitals. Our SANE nurses provide specialized, compassionate and expert medical-forensic care to those who need it most.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and today HSHS St. Vincent Hospital is proud to participate in "Paint the Town Teal."

We joined alongside our partners in the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) to add a teal ribbon to our windows - a vibrant symbol of our commitment to awareness, prevention and support for survivors in our community. Together, we are working to ensure that no one has to walk the path to healing alone.

We are also proud to host the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program on behalf of several community hospitals. Our SANE nurses are a vital branch of the community SART, providing specialized, compassionate and expert medical-forensic care to those who need it most.
