Harm Reduction!

We have THE BEST Executive Director of Mental Health! Thanks Elizabeth for making sure our friends have what they need to stay sane. Sometimes, harm reduction DOES look like providing ci******es!

What’s more, she encouraged me to take some time to just be. So this weekend, I’m going to RELAX! Thank you to those stepping up while I’m taking time to refill my proverbial cup!

Thank you for supporting Amanda’s House

Today we’re giving thanks for a generous anonymous donor who recently supported Amanda’s House. Their gift is helping us cover the costs of utilities for the families who call Amanda's House home. They may not want their name shared, but their kindness is deeply felt by the families who live here.

To every person who gives quietly and faithfully in the background--thank you. You are part of the healing that happens here.

When you bid at our Silent Auction on April 23, you’re doing more than winning a great item—you’re helping to keep Amanda's House running.

Your support helps provide safe, sober housing for women in recovery, a stable environment for kids, and even everyday basics that make a house feel like home.

Bring your friends, your generous spirit, and maybe a little friendly bidding competition. 😉

You can RSVP and invite your friends here: https://www.facebook.com/share/1AnH8CE5QA/

With the drop in overdose deaths, “we're celebrating: a death toll that exceeds total American combat fatalities in Vietnam, every single year,” writes addiction researcher Wayne Kepner.

Happy Anniversary Amanda’s House!!! Our community is better because you’re in it!

Happy Anniversary Amanda’s House!!! Our community is better because you’re in it!

Four years ago, Amanda’s House opened its doors as a safe, sober living home for women and their children. Since then, 73 women and their children have found stability, support, and hope within these walls.

With the support of our partners and volunteers, we’ve been able to provide structure, accountability, and compassion to women working hard on their recovery.
We are especially grateful for the support of: Episcopal Diocese of Wisconsin, Stand Together Foundation, Packers Foundation, Nicolet Bank Foundation, Basic Needs Giving Partnership, Women’s Funds of Greater Green Bay, Byron L. Walter Family Trust, Give Big Green Bay (2025), Little Rapids Corporation / Egan Family Foundation. Your generosity helps us provide a safe place to heal, grow, and rebuild lives.

As we celebrate 4 years of Amanda’s House, we’re looking ahead with gratitude and determination. While we remodel to expand, we remain committed to continuing this mission, welcoming more residents, and deepening our impact in the community. Thank you for believing in Amanda’s House and in the women we serve.

Here’s to the next chapter. ❤️🏡
