The holidays can be joyful, but they can also be overwhelming.
If you’re feeling the stress this season, you’re not alone. Here are 5 simple ways to protect your well-being: manage expectations, focus on what matters, be kind (to yourself and others!), practice coping skills, and reach out for help when you need it.

Taking care of your mental health is one of the best gifts you can give yourself.
Our Behavioral Health team is here to support you whenever you need us. 💚🧠

We loved coming together as an agency to collect donations for St. John's Ministries. Huge thank you to our team for your generosity and to St. John’s for the incredible work you do. 💙

A huge thank you to the Values Committee at N.E.W. Community Clinic for organizing a donation drive in support of St. John’s Ministries!

Donation boxes were placed at every clinic location, and staff received a special wish list to help gather the items most needed in our shelters right now.

We are so grateful for this thoughtful partnership and for every employee who contributed. Your generosity helps our guests stay safe, warm, and cared for this season. 💙

🌟 Giving Tuesday Spotlight: A Story of Hope and Healing 🌟

This Giving Tuesday, we’re honored to share a powerful story from one of our Behavioral Health patients at N.E.W. Community Clinic. Their words reflect the resilience, courage, and transformation that happen when compassionate care meets someone at exactly the right moment:

“I was struggling really bad in life and didn’t know where I was headed. The services here at N.E.W. Community Clinic made me believe in myself, that I wasn’t a lost soul. I needed a guide, and coming here showed me that someone cared enough to help me. I no longer feel the hurt, pain, or struggle. I relied on drugs, alcohol, and toxic relationships to get through life. I started looking at the person in the mirror and believing I deserved better. Coming here has helped me so much. I am now in a healthier relationship, no longer using drugs or alcohol, and I’ve learned that I have the ability and power to control my own destiny. I am grateful for Sheli and everyone on the behavioral health team.”

Stories like this remind us why accessible behavioral health services matter. They change lives, restore hope, and strengthen our community.

This Giving Tuesday, you can help make more stories like this possible.

On this Giving Tuesday, NEWCC’s Mobile Unit continues to make a meaningful difference in the community. Designed to meet people where they are, the Mobile Unit travels to trusted locations such as the Salvation Army, local homeless shelters, Head Start programs, and low-income housing sites.
The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with residents sharing how much they value care delivered in familiar, accessible spaces. In 2025 alone, the Mobile Unit has already made 37 visits and provided support to more than 160 individuals.
One community member reflected on the impact, explaining that being able to speak with a doctor outside of a traditional clinic or hospital helped him feel more comfortable and ultimately healthier. His story is just one example of how NEWCC’s Mobile Unit is breaking down barriers and bringing compassionate care directly to those who need it most.

Together, we can ensure compassionate care reaches every corner of our community.
