The Yella Grapnel from New Tribe is a useful non-PPE accessory used to retrieve throw weights, position tree climbing ropes, or to move between trees. You will be glad you have one on your harness when you make an in-tree throw to a higher branch and your throw weight slides back down, dangling out of reach, or when you want to traverse to another branch in the same tree, or traverse into a neighboring tree.

This tiny device is fabricated in Oregon, USA. It is not for life support (Not PPE). The Yella Grapnel includes 35' of Dyneema cordage (exact cordage may vary).

Arbsession's kingFID wire splicing fid is made from 17 gauge wire and makes splicing rope much easier. It comes with the Arbsession kingFID Fid Guard which was designed by our splicers with the help of the Arbsession Prototype Mill. It includes a 12 inch sewn rope loop handle that is girthed onto a steel ring.

We offer it in two lengths 24 inch and 36 inch, and it can easily be customized to your desired length.

24" fid is great for tight eyes on climbing lines and rigging lines.

36" fid is suited for longer buries such as a large eye on a rigging rope, or a 16 strand rope that has the long crossover of the core and the cover
