Happy 7 year investigation anniversary to me at Bobby Mackey's! This still is a Top Five experience for me and I'm so lucky and appreciative of the fact that I got to explore this building for a night. We still bring up weird stories from this investigation all the time.

So close...and yet so far...

In Duluth for a holistic fair and my hotel is kitty-corner to the William A. Irvin, a haunted freighter.

I'm pressed up against the hotel window, looking like a paranormal suction-cup Garfield.

A woman touched my face last night.

I feel like that should be enough of a strange sentence to leave it as is but it happened right as I was falling asleep.

I turned over in bed, ready to drift off, and I feel a warm pressure against my right cheek. I can see it perfectly in mind: it's the brush of the back of fingers. I don't know if I had imagined hearing a "shh" with her presence or if I just heard my fan making a strange sound at the same time.

I put up energetic guards around bedrooms in my house, and also along the property line, so this was someone who was "allowed" in by my spirit team.

It was comforting and mildly disconcerting all at once and it didn't disturb my sleep one bit. In all honesty, I had forgotten about it until I went to scratch my cheek and instantly remembered.

If you stand with or support the actions of the current administration running our country, there's the door - don't let it hit you on the way out. 👉 🚪👋✌️

I started this page with the full intention of being transparent on what I support. Con artists, scammers, grifters, anyone taking advantage of the misfortunes of others - they do nothing but ruin this field and they also happen to be the same type of people who run our federal government.

Preserving history and telling the stories of those who longer can share their side is my true passion in life; it's one of the reasons I became a historian and was able to bring that love into this realm of the paranormal. Injustice does not sit well with me and watching others just...let it slide by makes me choke and gag with rage.

This current administration is not looking out for any of us. They are money-hungry, greedy, hellish beings that are only looking out for one person: themselves.

They. Do. Not. Care. About. You.

"Isn't this page about the paranormal? Why are you getting into politics?" Well, the definition of paranormal is anything that exists outside the rational explanation of "normal" and guess what? NONE OF THIS IS NORMAL. THIS CANNOT CONTINUE TO *BE* OUR NORMAL.

I'm not debating the morals and ethics of keeping politics out of this field or this "hobby." I'm not interested in hearing the "Uhm, well, actually" arguments supporting the actions of the so-called "leaders" of our country. I'm not going to continue to promote those who think this is fine.

Like I said at the very beginning - if you don't like it, leave. And that statement alone is ironic, as that's what our country was founded on: immigrants who had had enough with how their government was treating them and left to start new, better lives - and now our country is punishing, torturing, and murdering people for those same reasons.
