During Week 5 our Little Sprouts Class dove into a sea of fun for Ocean Week — and the learning opportunities were endless! 🌎🌊🐠🦀

Here’s what our learners explored:

⭐ Starfish Count & Trace – We practiced number recognition, counting skills, and fine motor tracing while exploring starfish shapes!

🎣 Ocean Go Fish – A splash of social skills and turn-taking! Students worked on communication, matching, and patience while playing this ocean-themed game.

🐟 Ocean Water Fishbowl – Our learners loved being creative by using stickers and stamps to create their own ocean themed fish bowl.

🐙 Pin the Tentacles on the Octopus – So much laughter while targeting body awareness, direction-following, and teamwork!

🌊 Under the Sea Sensory Bag – A calming and engaging tactile experience that supported sensory regulation and descriptive language.

We love creating themed weeks that combine play, skill-building, and hands-on learning in meaningful ways. 💙

Meet the Flourish Team! 🌿
“Hi my name is Sierra and I started working as a CNA working with all different types of adults with disabilities and now transitioning into working with children. I love spending time with my nieces and nephews and being outside in the summer, going to concerts and sporting events. I hope to go back to school for social work someday. I am very caring, outgoing and love to make others laugh.”

Sierra has been eager to learn and grow upon starting at Flourish and always ensures she is asking great questions! She has been doing an amazing job pairing with each of the learners that she works with and is working toward becoming an RBT at Flourish! 🌟

Megan is our Wildflower of the Month for February! 🌺

Megan was nominated by her supervisors for:
🌟Asking for support when it’s needed
🌟Following through on programs
🌟Asking follow up questions about feedback and immediately implementing feedback
🌟Staying calm during maladaptive behavior
🌟Asking questions for clarification before running programs
🌟And helping with projects and cleaning around the center when it’s needed!

It has been such a pleasure watching Megan grow since starting at Flourish and we are so thankful to have her be part of our team 🙌🏻🤍

🌈✨ Week 4 in Little Sprouts Class was all about the colors of the rainbow! ✨🌈

This week was FULL of color, movement, and learning! 🎨🧠

Our learners had an amazing time building skills through fun, rainbow-themed activities:

🔺 Rainbow Pyramid Movements: We practiced following directions, motor planning, and coordination while following movements picked from the rainbow pyramid!

☔ Painted Rainbow Umbrellas: Creativity was shining bright as we worked on fine motor skills, color recognition, and turn-taking during our art project!

🎲 Rainbow UNO: We targeted matching, waiting, flexible thinking, and social skills while having tons of fun playing this colorful classic.

🚦 Red Light, Green Light: This game helped strengthen listening skills, impulse control, and self-regulation. Stop… go… grow!

🔎 Seek & Find: Color of the Week – We searched high and low for our special color, building visual scanning, attention, and expressive language skills along the way.

Every activity was designed to make learning engaging, meaningful, and individualized for our clients. Watching their confidence grow each week is the best part of what we do. 💛

🚀✨ Space Week at Flourish ABA Learning Center was out of this world! ✨🚀

Our learners had an incredible time exploring the galaxy through hands-on, skill-building activities all week long.

👽 Alien Hunt: We searched high and low to find hidden aliens, practicing teamwork, following directions, and turn-taking along the way.

🎨 Alien Mask Painting: Creativity was in full orbit as our learners designed and painted their very own alien masks. We loved seeing their unique ideas come to life while working on fine motor and self-expression skills.

🌕 Cracking Open Moon Rocks: Little scientists in action! Our learners “cracked” open moon rocks to discover what was inside, building patience, curiosity, and problem-solving skills.

🌠 Making Shooting Stars: We wrapped up the week by creating sparkling shooting stars, practicing following multi-step directions and celebrating their amazing work.

Space Week was packed with learning, laughter, and lots of stellar moments. We are so proud of our learners for reaching for the stars every single day! 💫🛸

Week 2 of 2026 Little Sprouts Class was Dino Week 🦖

We had some ROAR-some fun + meaningful learning all week long!

🦴Fossil Digging: our learners practiced requesting tools, taking turns and using fine motor skills to excavate hidden “fossils”.
🦕Dinosaur Stomp Parade: We stomped, marched, and roared while working on imitation skills, gross motor movement and group participation!
🧘‍♂️Dino Yoga: From T-Rex stretch” to “Stegasaurus pose”, we practiced balance, body awareness and calming strategies.
🎨Sponge Painting Dinos: Creative expression met fine motor practice as we dabbed and stamped our way to colorful Dino masterpieces.
🧊One of our fav sensory challenges! Our learners used tools and teamwork to rescue frozen Dino’s, building problem solving skills and persistence.

Learning + play + dinosaurs = the perfect combo 🦖💥

Happy anniversary to the gal who signed the first official offer letter at Flourish, Miss Kalin Glesner!! 🌿

As our Clinic Operations Coordinator, Kalin has been a huge part of getting us through our first year. Her dedication, organization, flexibility, constant support and can do attitude behind the scenes has helped our clinic truly flourish. Starting something from the ground up isn’t easy, so we are incredibly grateful to have had Kalin alongside us on this journey.

Thank you for believing in Flourish, for showing up everyday for our employees and clients, and for all of the ways you’ve shaped our first year.
