Because of your support, 1,000+ people stayed safe and independent this year. 💙

In 2025, Options’ LEND program loaned 1,936 pieces of essential equipment across Northeast Wisconsin — helping people get what they needed right away, not months later.

Behind every number is a real person:
• A parent recovering from surgery
• A grandparent bathing safely
• Someone navigating life after a new disability

This is why we host a Non-Gala Gala.
No fancy event. No tickets. Just impact — supporting independence when it matters most.

🗓️ Donate by December 31 and help us keep independence within reach.

🎄 Help Us Grant a Christmas Wishlist for Our Community 🎄♿

Our LEND Program is currently in need of manual wheelchairs and transport wheelchairs to continue supporting individuals in our community—at no cost to those who need them.

We gladly accept used wheelchairs that are clean and in good working condition.
If you don’t have one to donate but would like to help, you can also “grant” a wish by purchasing a wheelchair directly from our Amazon wishlist and having it sent to us.

🦼 Manual Wheelchair Wishlist Item:
Amazon.com: Medline Comfortable Folding Wheelchair with Swing-Back Desk-Length Arms and Swing-Away Footrests 18" or 20"

🦽 Transport Wheelchair Wishlist Item:
Amazon.com: Medline Lightweight Foldable Transport Wheelchair with Handbrakes

Every donated chair goes directly back into the community through our LEND Program, helping someone stay mobile, safe, and independent—especially during the holiday season.

💙 Thank you for being part of what makes this program possible. Together, we make a real difference.

Inclusion means honoring every version of the season.

The holidays can bring joy —
and they can also bring fatigue, stress, isolation, or barriers.

Accessibility, flexibility, and understanding allow space for everyone.

You don’t have to do it all.
You don’t have to do it the “right” way.

Give the Gift of Connection. 💛

The holidays are here — a time for calls, messages, photos, and staying in touch with the people we love.

But we often see how hard this season can be for some of our loved ones:
📱 Phones that feel confusing
🔊 Calls that are hard to hear
😕 Technology that causes frustration instead of connection

At Options, we help people navigate technology, hearing solutions, and accessibility tools so staying connected feels easier — not stressful.

From phone settings and assistive listening devices to one-on-one training and personalized recommendations, we’re here to help make connection possible.
Because the best gift isn’t a device — it’s feeling confident using it to connect with the people they love most.💬❤️

❄️ Winter doesn’t need to mean staying inside!

Snow-covered paths shouldn’t be a barrier to getting outdoors. With the right tools and fresh air, adventures are still possible — even in winter.

Our Trackchair opens up trails, parks, and outdoor spaces that would otherwise be inaccessible, giving people the freedom to explore beyond whatever might be plowed. And through our loan program, this equipment doesn’t just sit on display — it gets used, shared, and enjoyed by our community.

Because access to the outdoors shouldn't be a luxury.
It’s part of health, independence, and quality of life — year-round. 💚

📍 Interested in borrowing our Trackchair or learning more about adaptive recreation options? Reach out to us at 920-490-0500 — we’d love to help you get outside.

Traditions don’t have to disappear — sometimes they just look different.

What matters most isn’t how something is done, but who we’re doing it with.
With flexibility, support, and understanding, meaningful moments can still be shared — even when abilities, energy, or needs change.

This season, let’s make room for traditions that adapt, evolve, and include everyone.💛
If you need help, we’re here. Call us at 920-490-0500.

❄️ Winter Preparedness Matters ❄️

Cold and snowy weather can create serious safety risks — especially for people with disabilities, older adults, children, and anyone who relies on assistive technology or medical equipment.

Being prepared ahead of time can help keep you safe, warm, and connected when winter weather hits.

🧥 If you need to go outside:
Dress in multiple layers of warm clothing to help protect against frostbite and hypothermia.

🧃 Prepare your home:
Stock up on essential supplies like food, water, medications, sanitation items, first aid supplies, blankets, and materials to reduce slipping on ice.

🎒 Emergency planning:
Keep an emergency supply kit accessible and ready to use. Make sure important items are easy to reach if power is lost or travel becomes difficult.

📱 Stay informed & connected:
Sign up for local alerts and create (and test) an emergency communication plan with your support network.

🔋 Plan for power needs:
Have extra batteries available for flashlights, mobility devices, and assistive technology. Install battery-backed smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

♿ Assistive technology planning:
Keep paperwork, spare parts, batteries, and backup communication options available in case equipment stops working.

🏠 Need a warm place during extreme cold?

Search “Extreme Cold Warming Center” to find local warming shelters near you.

💙 Preparation saves lives. Please share to help keep our community safe this winter.
