Based in Green Bay, we offer expert, innovative care to people from northeastern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Our highly trained physicians and providers specialize in anesthesia, audiology, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, ear/nose/throat care, emergency medicine, general and vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, gynecologic oncology, interventional neurology, neurological surgery, neuropsychology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthopedics and sports medicine, pain and rehab medicine, plastic surgery and aesthetic skin care, radiology and urology. We are based in Green Bay, with additional locations throughout northeastern Wisconsin. Gail’s Law marks an important milestone for breast health in Wisconsin, made possible by years of dedication from Gail Zeamer and her family to raise awareness about dense breast tissue. 🎀💗

Dense breast tissue is common and can make cancer harder to detect on a standard mammogram—affecting nearly 40% of women. Gail’s story helped highlight the importance of access to insurance covered diagnostic and supplemental breast cancer screenings.

If you’ve been told you have dense breast tissue or you’re at increased risk, talk with your healthcare provider about what screening plan is right for you.

Dr. Max Ots, board-certified Neurosurgeon, performed his first Vivistim Therapy vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) implant in Green Bay — marking the first case performed outside of Milwaukee in eastern Wisconsin.

Vivistim Therapy is an innovative, FDA‑approved technology designed to support chronic stroke rehabilitation. By pairing vagus nerve stimulation with physical and occupational therapy, Vivistim aims to help enhance the brain’s ability to relearn movement and regain function.

This is a major step forward for stroke survivors in our region. We’re proud to bring breakthrough therapies like Vivistim closer to home for the patients we serve. 🙌

The Aurora BayCare Breast Services Team is excited to share that SOZO® is now available, offering an advanced approach to early lymphedema detection—often before visible swelling begins.

SOZO is a quick, non‑invasive, 30‑second scan that uses Bioimpedance Spectroscopy (BIS) to measure subtle fluid changes in the body. This technology allows the care team to identify early signs of lymphedema and intervene sooner, helping reduce the risk of the condition progressing.

Early detection plays a critical role in breast cancer care, and the addition of SOZO supports the department’s commitment to proactive, personalized care for patients during treatment and recovery.
