LIFE Academy, LLC, 1769 Shawano Avenue, Green Bay, WI (2025)

The daily living skills training that LIFE Academy provides is designed to help individuals with disabilities increase their skills in all areas needed to maintain a residence of their own or be more involved in their current residence (group home, family residence, adult family home, etc.). It is designed to focus on the areas identified by the individual, guardians, and county case managers. Training is provided but not limited to the following skill sets, utilizing public transportation, financial planning and understanding, grocery shopping and meal planning, cooking, cleaning, as well as personal and public safety. The purpose of this program is to allow clients the opportunities to increase their daily living skills and find success living independently.

Here at L.I.F.E. Academy, LLC we offer a variety of events through out the year for clients, families and friends to enjoy. One thing we do on a regular basis is "Bring 5, Take 5" meal exchange. Its so much fun, and a great way for attendees to try new food, gather new recipes, hang out with old friends and make new friends. Last night (Wednesday) was one of those nights. We had chili, played a "Mummifying" game, laughed, and enjoyed each other's company. So many smiles. Proud of my staff, the clients/attendees and can't wait for the next event. Bring on "Friendsgiving" and a Pizza Party too both in November.

Wanted to remind everyone that "Saturday bowling league" is still available.
Exceptional Bowling league at Riviera Lanes Saturdays 1130 start, 11:15 practice. Please do not arrive before 11am.
Cost is $10.00 per week.
Do not need a full team to register.
Do not need to belong to any specific service organization (Aspiro, L.I.F.E. Academy, CP Center, Oaks Family Care, etc).
League is open to anyone in the Special Needs Community.
Come and join us for an EXCEPTIONALLY good time.

Celebrating Zach's birthday at Sushi Lovers with some of the L.I.F.E. Academy clients, staff and families. Was a great meal adventure- trying new things, sharing stories, building friendships and eating well. These are the moments we treasure. Thanks for coming everyone! Until next time.

We may not always see the easiest of times but we definitely know the best times are the ones spent together!
A fun Saturday with this crew...picked everyone up, headed for some Mexican Food at Mexico Lindo, and then over to Pamperin Park for a little fun in the sun.
We missed a few regulars, and added a few just for the day but no matter the combination, friends are friends and the times together are important.
It never ceases to amaze me how important social events, community integration, friendships and untraditional learning experiences are for everyone and their mental and physical health. Feeling very grateful, thankful and blessed to be able to help "our crew" (all of them, not just these few) live thier fullest, best and most independent lives.

As I sit at my desk, sorting paperwork, sending in monthly billing and answering the phone I realized today is our 11th Anniversary. Happy Anniversary L.I.F.E. Academy, LLC.
While we may not be a perfect agency we continue to strive to be the best of the best. We have great community competition and we appreciate the challenge.
We have grown, changed, adapted a great deal in the last 11 years. The industry has had some huge ups and downs and we are proud to have been a part of them all. We continue feel blessed to be going forward.
Our goal is to offer above adequate services to those with varying abilities through professional, and personable supports on every level. The work we (and others) do is important to so many.
We want to thank all of the individuals, families, care teams, other service providers, and the community for all of the support through out the past 11 years. We will keep working hard to make a positive difference.
Again, Happy Anniversary. And a special thank you to all of our staff! You all are amazing. We appreciate you more than words can express. Simply the best!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
