NAMI Brown County WI is proud to host Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Training, a FREE 40-hour certification designed specifically for law enforcement officers.

April 27 – May 1, 2026
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
NWTC Campus | Green Bay, WI

CIT is an evidence-based training that equips officers with practical tools to safely and effectively respond to mental health crises. The training focuses on de-escalation, strengthening community partnerships, and improving outcomes for individuals experiencing mental illness.

• Improve de-escalation skills
• Increase officer and community safety
• Strengthen partnerships with mental health providers
• Reduce arrests and improve outcomes
