HEY DUDES!

You're invited to join Foundations for our November Dudes & T.A.C.O.S. "Dudes Give Back" event on November 12th from 5pm-7pm at Sleep in Heavenly Peace (2132 E. Deerfield Ave, Suamico, WI). Together, Dudes will make beds and help Sleep In Heavenly Peace uplift their mission to ensure no child goes without a bed.

🚓 Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Training Success! 💚

This past week, 29 officers completed Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training — an intensive, weeklong program focused on improving the way law enforcement responds to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.

CIT equips officers with tools to recognize signs and symptoms of mental illness, de-escalate situations safely, and connect individuals to appropriate resources and care.

A huge thank you to Willow Creek Behavioral Health for generously providing lunches and snacks throughout the week — your support keeps everyone fueled and focused! 🌟

We’re also incredibly grateful to all of our presenters, community partners, and individuals with lived experience who shared their expertise and stories. Your involvement makes this training meaningful and impactful.

Together, we’re building understanding, compassion, and safer responses in our community. 💙

NAMI Brown County offers a variety of support groups for individuals who live with a mental health condition or are experiencing mental health challenges (peer groups) and for family members who support individuals living with a mental health condition (family groups).
