Today Moringa John is making more VEGAN MORINGA ENERGY BALLS for healthy nutrient dense inbetween meals and late night snacking! These are gluten free also...if you have an allergy, ie nuts, to any ingredients we use, substitute with what works for you and keep it moving...:)
(AVOID THE CHIPS AND SNACKS AISLE FOR 30 DAYS! F YOU DONT PUT IT INTO YOUR CART/BASKET, IT CAN'T POISON YOUR BODY)
Out with what does NOT serve my body and IN with what does...easy recipe...BETTER HEALTH!
Potential Ingredients: MIX AND MATCH!
NUTRITIONAL BALLS BASE:
(only use Organic local when possible):
Roasted Sweet Potato puree
(roasting reduces water and increases flavor)
Apple Sauce (home made or Organic)
Banana puree
THICKENERS:
20-25% ORGANIC MORINGA POWDER (3 balls should equal 1TB by volume)
ORGANIC OAT FLOUR
ALMOND FLOUR
COCONUT FLOUR
MILLED FLAX SEED
QUINOA
AFTER ADDING AN EXTRA 10-20% BY VOLUME AS NEEDED, LET REST AND CHECK FOR CONSISTENCY!
FLAVORING POSSIBILITIES:
GO WILD AND HAVE FUN HERE...WE USE:
Peanut Butter
All Dried Fruits incl, Cranberries, Raisins, Dates, Figs, Shredded Coconut, Jams, Instant Mushroom Coffee blends, Organic Cocoa Powder, ALL Citrus Juices (extra moisture needs extra thickener)
Banana Puree
ALL Ground Nuts
Organic Cocoa Powder
COATING/DECORATION:
Organic 80% COCOA chocolate (any high quality/flavored)
Minced Nuts (Pecans, Walnits, Smkd Almonds, Pumpkin Seed, etc)
Shredded Coconut
Cocoa Powder/Instant Mushroom Coffee Blends
ASSEMBLY...FUN FUN FUN!
Make Base
Add 20% by volume thickener, rest 30min-2 hours
Form Balls - rest again 1 hour (we do 1.5-2oz...ANY size is ok)
Roll 1/2 side in melted chocolate- right away roll again in nuts or cocnut or cocoa powder, etc.
Let cool and set in fridge and ENJOY!!
PS...DO NOT FREEZE to set mixture...it will be a comolete mess when thawed...add more thickener unstead!
