😴 Sleep Is Essential for Your Health

A good night’s sleep does more than help you feel rested—it supports your immune system, improves focus and mood, and helps your body recover and recharge. When sleep problems become routine, they can affect your overall health and quality of life.

If you’re experiencing ongoing fatigue, trouble falling asleep, or poor-quality sleep, it may be time to talk with your healthcare provider. A wellness exam is a great opportunity to discuss sleep habits and other factors that impact your health.

📞 Schedule your wellness exam today: 307-872-4590

Taking care of your health starts with the basics—and good sleep is one of them. 💙

💧💚 March is Kidney Health Month

Your kidneys work hard every day—filtering waste, balancing fluids, and keeping your body in check. One of the simplest ways to support them? Drink more water.

Staying hydrated helps your kidneys flush out toxins, prevent kidney stones, and function at their best. If you’re unsure how much water is right for you, talk with your healthcare provider—especially if you have kidney disease or other health conditions.

This Kidney Health Month, make hydration a daily habit. Your kidneys will thank you. 💙

💙 Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month

Colorectal cancer is one of the most preventable cancers when caught early—but it doesn’t always cause symptoms in the beginning. Knowing the warning signs matters.

Signs and symptoms may include:
• Changes in bowel habits (diarrhea or constipation)
• Blood in or on the stool
• Ongoing abdominal discomfort (cramping, gas, or pain)
• Unexplained weight loss
• Fatigue or weakness

If you notice persistent symptoms or have concerns about your risk, don’t ignore them. Talk with your healthcare provider about what steps are right for you.

Early conversations can lead to early detection—and that can save lives.

🩺 Meet Our Ultrasound Team at Castle Rock Medical Center

Castle Rock Medical Center is expanding diagnostic services with the addition of ultrasound imaging—a safe, non-invasive way to obtain detailed images that support accurate diagnoses and timely care decisions.

We’re proud to share that Savannah Balizan and Amanda Lamb, our newly certified ultrasound technicians (Sonographers), are providing this service with skill, care, and attention to detail our patients can trust.

Ultrasound exams are commonly used to evaluate the abdomen, female pelvis, vascular system, thyroid, lymph nodes, breast tissue, and other soft-tissue concerns—helping providers better understand what’s happening and determine next steps in care.

A provider’s order is required for ultrasound services.

Your scan provides:
• Total body fat percentage
• Lean muscle mass
• Bone density
• Visceral fat levels
• Regional breakdown (arms, legs, trunk)

DEXA is one of the most accurate body composition methods available, using low-dose X-ray technology to clearly distinguish fat, muscle, and bone.
