Had an amazing time giving a lecture on multifocal GP contact lenses at NSUOCO! Even more rewarding was getting to work hands-on with the students during their contact lens workshop. I originally became a member for the community. Being part of a group of like-minded O.D.’s to collaborate with and learn from was important to me. Later I discovered the value of supporting a group that protects and expands our profession. I could not practice the way I practice today without the legislative board of the AZOA. I love being a part of something great!

Today was the first day of patient care!!! I was able to help 3 people with their prosthetic eye care and get their devices shiny and like-new once more!

I’m so excited to keep providing this service for the over 50K people per year who lose an eye!
