☀️Our Garden Club leaders had such a beautiful and inspiring day exploring Desert Meadows Garden, where they gathered ideas and discovered what will soon grow in their very own garden. They were fortunate to spend time with several Master Gardeners who generously shared their wisdom—and even gifted a few plants to help bring our vegetable garden to life.

📚The day didn’t end there. We continued our journey at the Green Valley Library, where the staff welcomed us with open arms and genuine excitement for our new project. Their support and encouragement meant so much as we continue to learn and grow together.

🍃Moments like these are a gentle reminder that our community reaches far beyond our walls. It lives in the kindness of neighbors, the support of local organizations, and the shared joy of helping one another succeed. Our residents are part of something truly special—a community that believes in lifting each other up and paying it forward.

☀️Our Garden Club residents were hard at work today, bringing both the Butterfly and Vegetable gardens back to life. After a weekend of extreme heat, everyone was eager to return and prepare their spaces for better days ahead.🫑🌶️🍓
🍃From refreshing the soil to planting new additions, the teamwork was inspiring. Our resident Tom took the lead in assembling the raised beds, while the ladies carefully prepared seeds and planted already sprouted seedlings. And what better way to end the day, than with some fresh refreshments and some quality time with friends, enjoying the fruits of their labor.
🪻It was truly a wonderful and productive day in the garden. 🌱 Great job Garden Club leaders! We are so blessed to have so many experienced gardeners in our community, willing to share their knowledge.

At Canyon Valley Memory Care, every day is filled with opportunities for our residents to connect, create, and thrive 💛

Today was a perfect example of the variety we offer. Some residents enjoyed a lively domino tournament, bringing out their competitive spirit and love for tabletop games. Others gathered for Book Club, diving into a fascinating read about wildlife. Meanwhile, many residents chose to focus on their own passions—spending time gardening, reading the Daily Word to those who need uplifting or getting creative while decorating for an upcoming event.

This is what makes Canyon Valley so special. We understand that everyone has unique interests and passions, and we take pride in offering a wide range of meaningful activities that allow each resident to engage in what brings them joy.

Today’s Ice Cream & Spark event was a wonderful celebration of creativity and community! 🍦✨

☀️ As part of our monthly resident-led tradition, our talented Resident Spark Team proudly showcased their newest Signature Spark creations. A special highlight was our Signature Spark Leaders, Donna and Lilian, who introduced their beautiful Spring Collection of handcrafted birdhouses, along with their lovely scented candle melts and sachets.

🍃 We are so grateful to all the friends and family who came out to support our residents—your presence truly means so much. A special thank you to Gus from Frontier Management for joining us today!

👏🏽 A big congratulations to our resident Norma, who was promoted to Frozen Ice Cream Attendant—she did a fantastic job and made the day even sweeter!

☘️Our Shamrock Hunt at Canyon Valley Memory Care today was pure magic and full of festive fun! 🍀

Residents teamed up in groups of three, alongside our amazing staff, for an exciting scavenger hunt throughout the community. The halls were filled with laughter, teamwork, and plenty of cheerful encouragement as everyone searched high and low for hidden shamrocks. The energy was contagious, and each group made their way to the finish line where well-deserved prizes awaited them!
A very special thank you to PJ from Bristol Hospice for joining us and treating everyone to refreshing Lemon-Lime Eegee’s—such a perfect way to celebrate the day! 💚 The Kitchen Family added an extra touch of sweetness by sharing trays of delicious chocolates, while our wonderful kitchen crew kept the fun going with their festive “leprechaun juice.”

Moments like these remind us how meaningful it is to come together, create joyful experiences, and celebrate the spirit of the season. Thank you to everyone who helped make today so special! 🍀✨
