Through resident-led roles and activities like Morning Meetings, Event Committee, and Book Club, our community shines. Today, Tom began with the Daily Word, Donna and Lilian lovingly prepared hundreds of flowers for our upcoming event, and Manfred led another inspiring Book Club from his personal biography, after a beautiful birthday celebration.

Days like this remind us that when everyone is given the opportunity to lead, create, and share their gifts, the whole community thrives.

🎂What a beautiful day it was as we gathered to celebrate our February birthday stars — Donna, Lilian, Dee, and Oscar! 🎉💛
🎁Our surprise birthday party was filled with so much love and joy. Every department came together — from our incredible Cooks, MedTechs, Housekeeping, Caregivers, and Activities team, to the friends and families who joined us — all to make sure Donna, Lilian, Dee, and Oscar felt just how truly special they are to each of us.
The room was overflowing with smiles, laughter, warm hugs, and sweet moments shared between friends. It’s days like this that remind us we are more than a community — we are family.

A heartfelt thank you to Bristol Hospice for helping us make this celebration extra special with their delicious cupcakes and beautiful cake for everyone to enjoy. Your kindness added even more sweetness to an already wonderful day.

🍃With hearts full of gratitude, we thank Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church for helping Gordo fulfill one of the most meaningful goals on his bucket list.
🕊️Surrounded by staff and neighbors who have become like family, Gordo received Christ and was baptized in our beautiful Harmony Garden. It was a day filled with faith, love, and the kind of joy that reminds us why community matters so much.

We are so honored to have been part of this sacred and unforgettable milestone. ✨

Our residents have been hard at work transforming our community as we welcome Spring! 🌸
Building on their beautiful Tea Party theme of Cherry Blossoms and a Chinese Garden, they are now expanding their vision — adding cheerful green clovers ☘️ just in time for their next big celebration… St. Patrick’s Day!

Our Event Committee has been thoughtfully planning every detail, making sure nothing is overlooked. From painting tree trunks to cutting out hundreds of delicate flowers and lucky clovers, their creativity and teamwork are truly inspiring.
It’s amazing to watch their ideas come to life as they prepare something so special for our community. We can’t wait to share more of the progress as the big day gets closer!

A Montessori Assessment allows us to:

🧧 Chopsticks & Chuckles for Chinese New Year! 🥢

In honor of Chinese New Year, our residents have been sharpening their skills — one noodle at a time!
🥢Today’s activity? A lively chopstick challenge that had everyone laughing, concentrating, and cheering each other on. From picking up pom-poms to mastering tricky little treats, our residents showed incredible focus, coordination, and determination.
🥡Who knew chopsticks could turn into such a competitive (and hilarious!) sport?
Beyond the fun, this activity supports fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and cognitive engagement — all wrapped up in celebration and cultural appreciation.

We’re ringing in the Lunar New Year with smiles, teamwork, and maybe even a few future chopstick pros in the making! 🏮✨

Currently, Mr. Cripe is spending his afternoon working on his book! 📖✍️ He has been pouring so much thought, love, and excitement into bringing his story to life and preparing it for publication. ❤️✨ It’s been beautiful to watch as cherished memories continue to SPARK inspiration, helping him add meaningful moments from his life to each page. 🌟📝
