Today at Canyon Valley, our residents enjoyed a productive and joyful day doing the activities they love most. 🌱☕ From the Garden Club preparing their space for an upcoming event, to the Event Committee adding the final touches to tea sets and souvenirs for their Tea Party, everyone played a meaningful role. Others helped sort decorations for future events—each contribution mattered.

Our award-winning, Montessori-inspired SPARK Program empowers residents through purposeful activities that nurture creativity, independence, and pride.

🫖🌸Today, the Event Committee was joyfully engaged in preparations for our upcoming Sweetheart Tea Party. With care and creativity, our community is transforming into a whimsical garden—an environment where love, friendship, and meaningful connections are nurtured and allowed to bloom, all over a “Spoon Full of Spark.”

🎣 Fuel Trip Fun at Sahuarita Lake! ☀️🌿

Today our memory care residents enjoyed a wonderful fuel trip to Sahuarita Lake, soaking up the beautiful Southern Arizona weather. Residents had the opportunity to go fishing, take peaceful walks, and simply enjoy being outdoors—smiles and fresh air all around!
🌳A special shout-out goes to our resident Dick, today’s biggest winner, who reeled in a nice-sized trout—a catch so impressive even he couldn’t believe it! 🐟👏
Moments like these remind us how meaningful it is to connect with nature, laughter, and each other. What a Spark filled day! 💙

One of our favorite ways to stay active is Co****le! This simple, familiar game offers big benefits for our residents. Tossing the bags helps improve balance, coordination, and strength, while also supporting focus and muscle memory. Even more importantly, it sparks laughter, friendly competition, and meaningful social interaction.
🏆In memory care, activities like Co****le meet residents where they are — encouraging participation, success, and a sense of accomplishment for everyone involved. Every toss is a win, whether it lands on the board or not.

✨What a fun-filled day! 💪🧠 We welcomed our newest residents, Vanee and Gloria, who jumped right into exercise—keeping bodies strong and spirits high. Trivia Hour gave our brains a great workout (and we even beat our all-time record… way to go, Craig! 🎉), and we wrapped up with everyone’s favorite: Bingo and Happy Hour, keeping memories sharp and smiles wide. A big thank-you to our friend Cathy for always blessing us with her company, and Suzanne from Agape Hospice for making Bingo extra special!

Exercising the body, mind, and soul—while making unforgettable memories—is what our SPARK Program is all about. We offer a unique approach that helps residents stay active, engaged, and involved in meaningful, fulfilling activities by focusing on their abilities.
