🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes at Canyon Valley Memory Care 🇺🇸
❤️Today, our community came together to honor the brave men and women — our veterans and their spouses — who have served our country with courage and devotion.
🤍Our ceremony began beautifully with Boy Scouts Troop #770, who proudly led us in the Color Guard and Pledge of Allegiance. This was followed by a touching Pinning Ceremony led by Retired Air Force Veterans Ray Velez and Taja Alcantara from Traditions Health.
💙We ended with a heartfelt moment of silence as our flags were raised — remembering and honoring all those we love who have served. ✨As a token of appreciation, our residents presented the Boy Scouts and Veterans Ray and Taja with a special basket filled with their Signature Spark Baked Goods — soon to be launched during our upcoming fundraiser on Thursday, November 20th.
📣 A special thank-you to Leslie from Traditions Health, Jason Hendrix and Troop #770, PJ from Bristol Hospice, all the families and friends who joined us, and our wonderful Lifestyle Director, Johanna Turnbull, for making this another successful and meaningful event.
