Mark your calendars for Tuesday, May 5, 10am-1pm! Due to the weather, unfortunately had to reschedule and move today's event.

The event will now be at the Springhill Lake Recreation Center, 6101 Cherrywood Lane, Greenbelt, MD 20770. It will be featuring Greenbelt Recreation ARTS and Greenbelt Lions Club with hearing and vision screenings and fun/interactive activities for children and parents.

Vision and hearing screenings are for parents and children as early as 7 months thru elementary and middle school.
This initiative is designed to encourage children to put down the tech and dive into a fun book with family. The event helps ensure that children and parents can see clearly, read confidently, and build a strong foundation for learning.

The GAIL program, in partnership with the Lions Club, is offering free vision and hearing screenings for parents and children in elementary and middle school. This initiative encourages families to step away from technology and enjoy reading together while ensuring children and parents can see clearly, read confidently, and build a strong foundation for learning.
