NorCal is conducting a clinical trial to compare Armour desiccated animal thyroid with synthetic levothyroxine for treatment of hypothyroidism. NorCal Medical Research is conducting studies in the San Francisco North Bay of investigational weight loss medications that may help overweight people with type 2 diabetes to reach treatment goals!!

You may qualify if you:
• Have an A1C over 7%
• Have type 2 diabetes for at least 6 months on diet and/or oral medication only
• Are not currently on weight loss medication
• Are aged 18 to 75
• Have not taken part in a clinical research study for obesity or overweight in the past year

If you qualify, you’ll receive study medication per protocol, lifestyle and dietary counseling, periodic laboratory testing, EKG and clinical follow-up at no cost. A stipend is provided for your time and travel.
