✨ “But you’re just a massage therapist…” ✨
I often giggle when I hear that phrase.
“All you do is rub lotion on people—how hard could it be?”
To those of us who live and breathe this work, that’s like poking a bear with a fire stick. But rather than defend what I do, I prefer to show people what it truly means to be a licensed massage therapist.
What I do goes far beyond applying lotion to skin. Each session is a careful journey through every muscle group — listening with my hands, feeling where the body holds tension, and guiding it toward release and balance. My hands are my tools, my intuition, and my gift.
I studied tirelessly for over a year, completing one of the most challenging programs and state exams I’ve ever faced — not for a title, but to ensure that every client who lies on my table receives care that is safe, skilled, and deeply healing.
Behind every session are hours of preparation, education, physical strain, and emotional energy. I’ve poured my time, tears, and heart into creating a space where everyone feels seen, safe, and restored.
What some see as “just a massage,” I see as transformation — a chance to help people move without pain, to breathe more freely, to reconnect with themselves. I see clients reclaiming their quality of life, one session at a time.
This isn’t just my career; it’s my calling.
It’s where compassion meets purpose.
It’s how I help the world, one pair of tired shoulders, one aching back, one heavy heart at a time. 💆♀️💖
