Last Wednesday was a big day at Mountain People Recovery 🙌

A few of our guys officially leveled up in the program, and we couldn’t be more proud. These moments represent more than progress. They are a testimony of God’s faithfulness, hearts being changed, and men choosing to walk in a new direction.

What you see here is hard work and consistency, but more than that, it is the Lord at work. He is restoring, strengthening, and leading each step forward. 💪

“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.” — Philippians 1:6

Keep going, men. God is not finished yet. 🙏

Every story at Mountain People Recovery is different but they all have one thing in common: hope is never lost.

Located in Greeneville, Mountain People Recovery (MPR) is a 15–18 month Christ-centered residential discipleship program helping men break free from addiction and rebuild their lives from the inside out.

Through faith in Jesus, daily structure, work programs, and strong community, these men are learning what it means to live with purpose, responsibility, and freedom.
This isn’t just recovery—it’s life transformation.

Chains are being broken.
Hope is being restored.
And new stories are being written every single day.
If you believe in second chances, you’re already part of the story. 🤍

🏁This past weekend, some of our guys had the opportunity to serve in Rockingham helping clean for a NASCAR race. 🏎

What may look like a simple job is actually part of something much bigger—learning discipline, building work ethic, and stepping into responsibility.

Every opportunity matters. Every step forward counts.

✝️ He is not here; He has risen!

Today we celebrate the victory of Jesus over sin, over death, and over every broken place in our lives. The same power that raised Christ from the grave is still at work today, bringing hope, healing, and new life.

At Mountain People Recovery, we see that resurrection power firsthand in lives being restored, chains being broken, and new beginnings taking shape every day.

Happy Easter from Mountain People Recovery! 🤍

This past Wednesday, the men of Mountain People Recovery took part in a Pesach (Passover) Seder dinner, led by Eunice and Bruce.

Pesach is the feast that Jesus shared with His disciples on the night He was betrayed—making this experience especially meaningful as we reflect on its deep biblical significance. 🕊

It was a powerful evening of learning, remembrance, connection, and rededication. The guys gained a deeper understanding of God’s faithfulness and the foundation of our faith.

We’re so grateful for leaders who take the time to pour into these men in such intentional and impactful ways. 🤍

Spring is here… a season where everything starts to come alive again. 🌱

At MPR, we see that same kind of renewal happening every day— not just in homes, but in the lives of the men in our program.

Through renovations and landscaping, they’re gaining more than job skills… they’re rebuilding confidence, finding purpose, and creating a new path forward.

Every project tells a story of second chances.
Every finished job represents something deeper than what you can see.

🏡 Built with care.
❤️ Lives being restored along the way

Experiences like this builds teamwork, responsibility, and true brotherhood.

This past Saturday was something special at Mountain People Recovery.
Bruce and his family came out and blessed our guys in a big way—starting the morning with a homemade breakfast and then spending time pouring into them through music. 🎶

They gave lessons on guitar, bass, and even how to make beats on an MPC. The guys learned how to play the blues , picked up new skills, and had a short worship jam.

It was a powerful reminder that healing and connection can happen in so many ways—even through music.

We’re so grateful for people who are willing to share their time, gifts, and hearts with our community. ❤️

🎉 We’re celebrating growth at Mountain People Recovery! 🎉

On Wednesday night, Eric, Troy, Alex, and Trevor all leveled up in the program, and we couldn’t be more proud of them.

Leveling up here isn’t about perfection or speed. It represents consistency, humility, and choosing to show up day after day. It’s the result of doing the work when no one’s clapping and staying committed even when it’s hard.

Well done, men. Keep going. We’re cheering you on. 💪
