Congratulations to our owner and LMT on becoming certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) through Klose Training! What is MLD? It is a lighter pressure technique used in different situations (such as cancer treatment, lymphedema diagnosis, or post surgical) to help the lymphatic system in functioning faster to remove damaged cells in the body or waste products from the body and help reduce swelling. Everyone can benefit from MLD, but some medical situations need medical team approval before MLD can be performed. Jill Ellsworth and at least 1 other Licensed Massage Therapist colleague are doing volunteer 10-minute chair massages in the Greenfield/Fontanelle area this week:
5:30-8:30 Thursday 5/30, The Gathering Place, 102 SW Kent, Greenfield
3-6 Sunday 6/2 Summerset Estates, 905 3rd, Fontanelle
The massages will primarily be for workers doing clean-up and those who had property damage and/or lost family members, but no one will be turned away. Massage therapy not only helps relieve tired muscles, but can be good for mental and emotional health. Please help spread the word! If you have any questions, feel free to call/text Jill at 515-418-1039.

We are so sorry for the lack of communication! Our owner was impacted in the tornado and has been unable to post with updates during the cleanup of their home.

Power has been restored to our office and we hope to continue our schedule as soon as we can. Please understand that if we call, we will need to reschedule your appointment for the foreseeable future. During Greenfield’s cleanup, we are currently trying to figure out how to see our clients to give a little back to a community who has taken care of us so well. Thank you and prayers to all of the families affected by this terrible situation.
