Today in therapy, our residents practiced daily living skills by creating pumpkin pies and turkeys—turning meaningful movement into a fun, seasonal activity. Therapeutic cooking and crafts help strengthen coordination, balance, sequencing, and fine motor skills, all while supporting confidence and independence with everyday tasks like dressing, cooking, and personal care. Progress feels even better when it’s wrapped in creativity and smiles. 🎃🦃

We had a hilarious time with our residents during pie-in-the-face fun! 🥧😄 Residents got to pick any department head to take a pie to the face — the laughs were nonstop, and we think the residents might have enjoyed it even more than the staff! 💛
