Meet Kara Armstrong, NP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjXB2bnOnOo&list=PLvxgtlzFUFz9bAfnq-TAL0wP87O3eG0Zo. 🎥

Kara Armstrong is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Hancock Health, providing compassionate primary care for patients of all ages. Her path into healthcare was shaped early on by her family experiences, growing up alongside her younger brother and seeing firsthand the impact nurses can have on a family’s life. That early exposure inspired a lifelong calling to care for others and eventually led her to family medicine. 🩺

What Kara loves most about her work is watching patients make progress and reach their goals. In family medicine, she often cares for multiple generations, building trusted relationships and supporting entire families through every stage of life. That continuity of care is what makes her work especially meaningful. 🌟

Outside the clinic, Kara is known as the “baby whisperer,” a title she proudly owns. Her natural connection with children and families shows up in everything she does, creating a warm, reassuring experience for even the youngest patients. 🍼

Kara is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to partnering with you and your family on your health journey. 🧡

Meet Amy R. Wooldridge, MD: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICZWDXpdCAA&list=PLvxgtlzFUFz9bAfnq-TAL0wP87O3eG0Zo. 🎥

Dr. Amy Wooldridge is a trusted physician in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics at Hancock Health, where she brings compassion, clarity, and deep respect to every patient relationship she builds. 🤝

Inspired early on by a family rooted in care and education, Dr. Wooldridge knew she wanted a career centered on helping others and supporting people through every stage of life. 🌟

Her passion lies in caring for older adults, where she finds the greatest reward in forming meaningful, long-term relationships and guiding patients and families through the aging journey with answers, understanding, and reassurance. For Dr. Wooldridge, medicine is as much about listening and supporting as it is about treatment. 🩺

Outside of work, her two young daughters keep life joyful and busy, filling her days with laughter, energy, and plenty of smiles. That same warmth and attentiveness carry into the care she provides every day. ✨

We’re grateful to have Dr. Wooldridge as part of the Hancock Health team, delivering thoughtful, relationship-driven care rooted in trust and compassion. 🧡

With increasing activity of respiratory viruses such as flu, COVID and RSV, Hancock Health is implementing updated visitation restrictions as of Monday, December 22nd.

• Visitation is restricted to immediate family as identified by the patient
• Visitors must be at least 18 years of age
• Those having respiratory illness symptoms, including, but not limited to: cough, fever, chills, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, diarrhea, fatigue, headache, and vomiting will not be allowed to visit
• Visitors should continue to practice good hand hygiene.

The updated visitation policy is being implemented with input from Hancock Health leadership and in accordance with guidelines from the Indiana Department of Health and the CDC. We urge everyone ages 6 months and older, especially individuals at higher risk of serious flu complications, to get a flu shot as the first and most important step for protecting against flu viruses.

Clean hands make a powerful difference. 🧼🧡

Washing your hands often is one of the easiest ways to protect yourself and those around you from illness. Germs spread through everyday contact, but a quick wash with soap and water can help stop them before they do harm.

Remember to wash before eating or preparing food, after using the restroom, after coughing or sneezing, and anytime your hands look dirty. Scrub for at least 20 seconds, rinse well, and dry completely. When soap and water aren’t available, use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol until you can wash properly.🚰

Simple habits like this help keep our community healthy. At Hancock Health, we’re proud to promote everyday actions that make health possible for all. ✨
