Friday was new cat patient day! Meet Tito and Dottie.

Tito has diabetes and is getting adjusted to promote general wellbeing. He just loved being close to Mom and getting attention.

Dottie has hip dysplasia and really struggles to move around. Her people are hoping that some gentle chiropractic care can help her regain strength. (When an animal has this condition the hips are not manipulated.) During her appointment she settled in and her people said it was the most relaxed they had seen her and that she must “really like it”. 😻

Nate rocked his first adjustment last week! He started acting painful the week before. He was yelping while changing positions, unable/unwilling to do stairs or jump up onto the bed. While on medications he was generally less painful but activity did not change much. After his first adjustment he is jumping up onto the bed, doing stairs, no yelping, and even turning over onto his back again to get his belly rubbed. Big wins for this super sweet boy!

Kaner started care a couple of weeks ago and came back in today for a follow-up. He has been stiff from aging and arthritis. He started scooting his bottom and having difficulties jumping up onto the bed. Following the first adjustment he jumped onto the bed once and almost completely stopped scooting! Way to go buddy! 👏

(Yes he has been seen by his vet for the scooting to make sure no a**l gland/parasite issues!)

Shady came in a couple weeks ago after accidentally being stepped on by her kid. She absolutely LOVED the adjustment and had a great time exploring the room. 😻

Hank started to slow down and show signs of pain. Mom brought him in and he LOVED the work. 💕

This week we had to say goodbye to several of Healing Meadows long term 3+ year patients. Many tears were shed this week as I treated other animals from these families. The animals felt these losses during their appointments too. Sophie needed a little extra love and attention and I was more than happy to give it to her. Thank you all for allowing me the honor of being a part of your family in a little way. 💜
