Olive could really use some cheerleaders! In December she had a flare up of IVDD that led to loss of sensation and movement in her rear legs. Surgery was not an option for this family. She was put on medications which seemed to help with the pain but she continued with weakness in the rear. She lost a little bit of her bladder control as well. She has been adjusted and lasered a couple times a week for the past few weeks and we are starting to see subtle signs that things are improving. At first she was unable to stand at all without complete assistance and sitting wasn’t even a possibility. She has regained the ability to sit on a nonslip surface, can stand semi assisted for longer bouts of time, has full bladder control, and has more energy and spice for life. We referred for acupuncture as well to keep her healing journey going forward. Just last night while stretching she actively moved one of her legs, which has not happened yet. Help me in cheering this sweet girl on as her brain and body continue to reconnect! 🥰🙏💕
