Our 2026 State of To***co Control report is here!

In 2025, major federal rollbacks weakened the systems that help prevent to***co use and support people who want to quit. That puts years of progress at risk.

Our new report shows how every state is doing and what leaders must do to protect lives. See our state’s grade and read the full report: Lung.org/SOTC

Last year, Indiana Lawmakers raised to***co taxes. We are seeing more Hoosiers quit to***co products as a result, but we still fall short in being able to successfully fund to***co control programs all across the state to prevent and help people quit smoking, va**ng, or any other to***co use. The proof is in the pudding, and due to the to***co tax increases, we are seeing an incredible increase in people using Quit Now Indiana services. All Hoosiers pay the price of the to***co industry, even our children.

Find the full report below from the Campaign for To***co-Free Kids annual report on the state of to***co control titled, “Broken Promises to Our Children.”

We’ll be sharing these findings with lawmakers this Monday, January 26th, from 10am-2pm EST, on the 3rd Floor South in the Indiana Statehouse.
