FRST Strength is proud to introduce our newest CPT !! Here’s a little introduction from Amanda…

“A lot of athletes find their passion of strength training from previous or current sports, as a young teen I played basketball and soccer, but that isn’t what brought me into the gym. I simply just love to lift weights and to see the benefits it provides other than building muscle. Training with heavy weights has helped improve my sleep, boost my serotonin levels and overall just makes my body feel at its best. I also realized that exercising comes with so much more. It’s not just about lifting weights or running a few miles, it’s about showing up and putting yourself first. My love for strength training has made me realize that I want to guide and bring more athletes into the gym and show them what they are capable of and how it can change their life. Whether if it’s gaining muscle, maintaining, losing weight or recovering from an injury, I want to be the trainer to support and help you achieve your goals.” - Amanda Romanovicz -

If you’d like to get in touch with our strong new trainer, DM us and we’ll get you started! Stay strong from FRST STRENGTH and have a great weekend!

As I reflect on my childhood from time to time I realize that sports were my first love. The swim 🏊‍♂️ team and the tennis 🎾 courts in kindergarten were my earliest memories of competing. As I approached 5th grade, When I got home from school in the winter, I would spend hours on hours shooting free throws in my yard if we didn’t have a game or practice. In the spring it was baseball ⚾️ season. This was my game. I was a catcher and I loved it. I threw righty and bat lefty so the coaches liked that. I played in lots of all star games and I was blessed enough to be the catcher on our traveling all star teams from 13-15. I played 3 or 4 games at double day field in Cooperstown New York. (Go watch League of their own) and you’ll see where I got to play. In my freshman year I decided to put on the pads and play football. I was lean & relatively tall but since I had never played football before I had no idea how complex the game was. I ended up becoming the “backup” nose tackle my freshman year but I got enough playing time to showcase my talent and willingness to play. Our freshman team was undefeated 11-0 and We were primed to become the next big thing. After basketball season my freshman year I was introduced to my THE WEIGHT ROOM. All of a sudden the noise from the outside was dulled. The weight room helped me become a better football player taking me to college on a scholarship where injuries had other plans for me. I learned about the importance of strength and stability. I was able to play football for the number 1 team in the state and 33 in the country. Today we are blessed with the opportunity to help people learn the importance of movement and routine. Living out our dream 1 rep at a time. As we approach FRST Strength 3 year anniversary I want to specially thank .10, NS, Lily Burton, & Lexi (for making the FRST design as amazing as it is) for making custom FRST Strength designs, .sulda for being part of our dream. Whether you were with us 1 day or 1 year you are part of the team.

Watching train as a unit is a powerful experience. Toward the end of today’s program Ryan had Heavy overhead shoulder presses to do while and I told him that his family had to hold a challenging core exercise until he completed several reps with multiple sets. I seen a super power come out of him that I’ve never seen before. Maggie hit a PR on her clean and press and Ethan Killed his hang cleans before being put in a similar situation as Ryan. Ethan had to do a barbell overhead press for 12 reps with his family (once again) waiting in the core cooker. I got to watch all 3 of these athletes tap into super powers today. This is 1 of many reasons that I love what I do.

FRST Strength Wants to wish all of the students, educators, coaches, administrators, parents and bus drivers a safe, healthy & exciting 2023-2024 School year. Recently someone told me about a mathematical equation as to why time goes by so fast every passing year. He said, “When we are 6 years old 1 month is a large % of our life, but when we are 25 all of a sudden 1 month is a much smaller % of that same life. “ 🤯
FRST Strength is open from 6:30am-7pm Monday-Friday (with the exception of Thursday. We stay open til 7:30)
Saturday: 7am-4pm. Stay educated, stay hydrated, eat well and practice self care.
