Day 2 of our 4-H Spring Break Cooking Workshop was packed with fun and flavor! 🍕🥜🥣

Today our 4-H youth made:
✨ Protein Bites
✨ Mini Pizzas
✨ Trail Mix

Youth got to:
🔹 Build their own snacks and customize ingredients
🔹 Learn how to create balanced, energizing foods
🔹 Practice kitchen responsibility and clean-up

There were lots of great conversations about:
🥗 What makes a healthy snack
⚡ Foods that give us energy
🏠 Easy recipes they can make at home

The best part? Watching everyone get creative and try new things!

🌸🍓 4-H Spring Break Cooking Workshop Fun! 🍓🌸

Today’s 4-H Spring Break Cooking Workshop was full of learning, creativity, and delicious food! Our youth rolled up their sleeves and made:

🥣 Homemade Granola
🥛 Instant Pot Yogurt
🥞 Pancakes
🍓 Strawberry Lemonade Dirty Soda

Not only did participants have fun in the kitchen, they also learned valuable life skills along the way:

✨ Kitchen Safety – Proper handwashing, safe food handling, and how to safely use kitchen equipment
✨ Measuring & Math Skills – Practicing measuring ingredients and understanding portions
✨ Nutrition Education – Learning how to make healthier versions of favorite foods
✨ Following Directions – Reading recipes and working step-by-step
✨ Teamwork & Communication – Working together and helping one another
✨ Cooking Confidence – Building independence and life skills for the future

It was a great day of learning, laughter, and tasty creations! We’re proud of these young chefs and the skills they’re building beyond the kitchen. 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳
