UPDATE as of NOON 01.26.25 - Hancock County has updated its travel advisory status to watch (orange) so Hancock Health operations will follow the schedule as listed below. If you do have an appointment this afternoon, please do call and confirm that your provider or tech was able to make it into the office and are running on schedule. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Continue to stay safe and warm as conditions are still not ideal. 🧡
As inclement winter weather continues across Central Indiana and Hancock County has updated its travel advisory status to Warning, we are committed to keeping our patients, visitors, and associates safe. Please review our operational updates for Monday, January 26:
* Emergency Department is ALWAYS OPEN
* Inpatient and surgical appointments - no interruptions in care
* Immediate Care locations (Greenfield and Gateway) will open at Noon
* All outpatient imaging and lab will open at Noon – including hospital,
Gateway, Parkway, McCordsville and New Palestine locations
* Oncology appointments will be delayed until Noon
* Rehab (PT/OT/Speech) locations will open at Noon
* Outpatient Clinics and Provider Offices including Hancock Well-Being
at Work, Hancock Family Medicine, Hancock OB/GYN, Hancock
Pediatrics and Specialty offices - patients will be contacted to
reschedule AM appointments. Normal operations will resume
Monday afternoon beginning at Noon.
* Pain Management will be CLOSED
* Hancock Surgery Center will be CLOSED
* Coffee Bar and Gift Shop at Hancock Regional Hospital will be CLOSED
* Hancock Wellness Centers will open at Noon
If you have a Monday morning appointment, please watch for a call or text from your provider’s office. You may also call 468.4600 to reschedule beginning at 7:30AM. Please be patient as call volumes will be incredibly high.
