What a night. What a conversation. 🧡

We were honored to welcome 50 women to Gateway for Unfiltered: A Women’s Health Conversation We All Need, hosted in partnership with Indy Maven. From the first question to the last conversation, the room was full of honesty, curiosity, and connection.

Our Hancock Health experts, Dr. Kerri Kissell, Dr. Michelle Kitsis, Dr. Molly Strong, and Jenn Wells shared their knowledge, while the audience showed up with thoughtful questions. Together we created the kind of space women deserve when it comes to their health.

UPDATE as of NOON 01.26.25 - Hancock County has updated its travel advisory status to watch (orange) so Hancock Health operations will follow the schedule as listed below. If you do have an appointment this afternoon, please do call and confirm that your provider or tech was able to make it into the office and are running on schedule. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Continue to stay safe and warm as conditions are still not ideal. 🧡

As inclement winter weather continues across Central Indiana and Hancock County has updated its travel advisory status to Warning, we are committed to keeping our patients, visitors, and associates safe. Please review our operational updates for Monday, January 26:
* Emergency Department is ALWAYS OPEN
* Inpatient and surgical appointments - no interruptions in care
* Immediate Care locations (Greenfield and Gateway) will open at Noon
* All outpatient imaging and lab will open at Noon – including hospital,
Gateway, Parkway, McCordsville and New Palestine locations
* Oncology appointments will be delayed until Noon
* Rehab (PT/OT/Speech) locations will open at Noon
* Outpatient Clinics and Provider Offices including Hancock Well-Being
at Work, Hancock Family Medicine, Hancock OB/GYN, Hancock
Pediatrics and Specialty offices - patients will be contacted to
reschedule AM appointments. Normal operations will resume
Monday afternoon beginning at Noon.
* Pain Management will be CLOSED
* Hancock Surgery Center will be CLOSED
* Coffee Bar and Gift Shop at Hancock Regional Hospital will be CLOSED
* Hancock Wellness Centers will open at Noon

If you have a Monday morning appointment, please watch for a call or text from your provider’s office. You may also call 468.4600 to reschedule beginning at 7:30AM. Please be patient as call volumes will be incredibly high.

Winter Storm Important Reminders:
❄️ Stay informed by monitoring local advisories, including Hancock Emergency Management, Hancock County Sheriff's Department, Greenfield Police Department, and local news stations

❄️ Make sure you have needed medicine, food and water before the winter storm arrives

❄️ Hancock Health Emergency Department is ALWAYS OPEN in the event of an emergency

❄️ Stay hydrated and dress appropriately in layers to prevent frostbite and hypothermia

❄️ Keep emergency supplies in your vehicle and be mindful of deep snow accumulation and ice-slick roads

❄️ Check on older adult loved ones and neighbors

❄️ Greenfield has a Warming Center located at the Boys and Girls Club. Watch the Center Township - Hancock County IN page for details

❄️ If you are a patient who needs a ride to a treatment that cannot be missed (example: cancer, dialysis, etc.), please call the Hancock County COAD (Community Organization Active in Disaster) at 317-477-1176, choose option 4 to speak with an on-duty staff member.
