A lot of my clients have read accounts of child abuse or seen upsetting videos. I am begging you not to read them. We’re not designed to intimately take in that degree of suffering. It’s actively traumatizing already traumatized people. If you’re a survivor, too, trust me I get the impulse, and trust me it’s a very bad idea.

FROSTBITE - YOU DON"T HAVE HOURS THIS WEEKEND YOU HAVE MINUTES

For my friends in the Philadelphia area this is about as dangerous as it ever gets when talking about cold weather. Once the wind chills drop below zero early Saturday morning, they won't climb back above zero again until lunchtime on Monday. This is a brutal shot of arctic air! The source region is literally Siberia!

The coldest wind chills of 10 to 20 below are expected from 9am Saturday through 10am Sunday. Frostbite can occur within 20-30 minutes (nose, ears, cheeks, fingers and toes). Children and people with poor circulation can be affected even sooner.

What early frostbite looks like...
Skin turns RED then PALE then WHITE/GRAY. The skin also turns numb which is dangerous because you don't feel the damage happening.

This is life-threatening cold!
