& .sullivan_thebabywitch are teaming up to offer an incredible package for postpartum recovery, combining individualized bodywork and pelvic health rehab

The postpartum period is such a precious time with major body changes in all realms regardless of your birth experience.

The bodywork helps to rebalance the pelvis and body as a whole while reconnecting the mind-body partnership.

The physical therapy will solidify that new mind-body connection using education, movement, and internal treatment.

Instead of feeling lost in your new body, let us help you feel at home, strong, and capable to care for your child(ren) the way you want to.

Do you have other big fitness goals?? We LOVE working on that too. Helping you get back to working out, running, hiking, and more safely so you feel better than you ever have.

It’s possible. We promise.

From an athlete who has been SO consistent with strength work this past year and it's showing:

"I’ve been using the Ridgeline Performance strength app for almost a year, and it has been a game changer. I ran the Boston Marathon 8 months postpartum after an emergency c-section and finished just minutes off my BQ time—feeling strong from start to finish.
My recovery shocked me even more. Even with less mileage and way less sleep, I’m running faster and feeling stronger than I did pre-pregnancy. The workouts are quick, effective, and easy to fit into a busy schedule. And it’s true — I am hitting interval paces I haven’t seen since 2022. Thank you, Morgan!"

There are so many benefits to jumping yet it’s something we stop doing as we age. Sometimes that’s because of a previous injury, fear of injury, or just not thinking about it. In order to feel more comfortable with jumping, a gradual progression can be super effective.

By gradually progressing intensity of the jumping, tendons, muscles and bones/joints actually have advantageous adaptations versus pain or injury.

What this progression look like can be different for every body depending on experience, strength, power, previous injury, and more. This video is just a snapshot of a progression we use in Ridgeline Performance and Bloom to re-establish jumping into weekly workouts.

Each variation is completed for a four week cycle, allowing confidence to be built before moving on to a more intense version. We don’t throw you in to the deep end and hope for the best.

As always, there are SO many other options for this type of movement and this is just a snippet.

THE FACILITY. Another team that deserves the biggest shout out because they’ve given me such a peace of mind AND helped me feel better than I thought possible this year…all while growing a human and having another growth year in business. If you don’t want to read the whole story, just know that you should work with them if you feel lost in the medical system, brushed off because you’re “young and healthy”, or just want to optimize your health.

At the beginning of last year I decided 2025 would be the year I started shifting focus back on myself (rather than my just my business). At the time I was feeling generally inflamed, becoming more sensitive to foods, getting sore from every workout, and having sleep issues for the first time. I was tired of spending time and money trying to let the internet solve my problems.

My husband and I have a belief that “fine” shouldn’t be an answer to anything if we have the power to improve it. I wanted to feel better than fine and I am beyond grateful to have found Kate and Mitchell to help with this.

Luckily I met Kate from in January at a mentorship and decided to start working with them in February. We completed a full blood panel after a veryyy comprehensive intake session. I walked away from my sessions with action steps that included simple lifestyle changes, food over supplements for optimizing blood work, and then targeted supplements where needed.

Entering into my pregnancy, I was feeling the strongest and most resilient I had felt in years. Yes, I have some solid genetics in that realm (pregnancy) and many other providers that helped me feel great (including my own education) in that phase, but I know the knowledge and the support I knew I had through The Facility took a huge mental load off me during that big life and body change.

Kate and Mitchell are some of the most real clinicians I’ve met. Curious, caring, collaborative, and honest. Working with them is an investment into my health and one that has been totally worth it and I know will only continue to pay dividends over the next few years as my body goes through a lot of changes.

Desk job? This might be something you can relate to then.

INTENTION. The focus behind a step up strongly influences what you’re biasing in this movement. There’s not a right or wrong, just like most exercises, there’s just a difference.

Looking to get heart rate up -> amazing. Speed is probably first variable to focus on here. Moving quickly, using some weight and a box height that is sustainable for higher repetitions

Single leg strength and control -> maybe you’re a hiker trying to avoid knee pain, rehabbing your lower body, or just love a solid strength exercise. SLOW, controlled movement is essential here then. Push THROUGH the top foot and control back down to the ground, not letting gravity just yank you back to the start.

This video shows a very strength focused step up. You can see the focus on shifting weight into the top leg then pushing through that leg and not off the back leg as much as possible. The control back down is one of the most challenging pieces of this slow step up. These are HARD if done correctly, with a box height that is challenging but doable with this form, and can lead to sore booties and quads. Just a fair warning.

It’s been a crazy year full of life changes and I wanted to give some shout outs to some of the main supporters in my life who have made this one of the best. Starting with the ones who have been by my side the longest and celebrated a big milestone recently.

turned 5 at the end of 2025 and I have been fortunate to be located inside of their facility for three of those years. Although we’re two separate entities, it’s difficult to tell at times. We confuse people with how much we collaborate and how they include me as a member of their team even though I’m not “employed” by them. It’s unique.

We’re a team. I will forever be grateful for this relationship we’ve built and I truly don’t think I could find another business owner, and team, that I connect with so well. Open communication, desire to learn and grow, mutual trust, dedication to each other and the members. All felt every day.

I’ve said it before but the level of coaching that takes place at Seacoast Athletics continues to blow me away. They have all generously stepped up to help take on some of my one-on-one clients while I am out on maternity and I have no doubt in their abilities. Their support has given me a peace of mind I didn’t think I’d have with my business going into this next phase of life.

As they celebrate their 5-year anniversary this weekend, I will be there in spirit, and reflecting on how much Justin, Lisa, the coaches, and the members have made my life so incredible the last three years.

Pull ups with a band assist are great, don’t get us wrong. We love a good barbell assisted pulling variation though as well.

Why we love it:

⭐️Easier to control and focus on the right muscle engagement so ideally less neck and shoulder pain and more strength gains

⭐️Can make it as challenging as you want and easily adjust that throughout reps by just controlling leg utilization…again, less compensation potential

⭐️Shortened core (versus long hang) so it’s great for return from abdominal surgery, pregnancy, or postpartum

In summary, using an adjustment like this OPTIMIZES your movement leading to so much GOOD rather than thinking of it as an “easier” option
