This isn’t about shame but grounded awareness!

I remember growing up watching my mom serve everyone at the table and she would eat last.

As I got older, I recall literally fighting with her because I was trying to get her to stop doing that but little did I know, it was an ancestral wound passed down long before I arrived.

Slowly but surely we have been healing this imprint not through shame, force or guilt but by slowing down long enough to listen to our bodies.

Till this day, I have to often practice, asking my body “are we over extending or does this feel within my range?”

If more of us dove into ancestral healing…

this world would be a different place.

Think about it, we can’t fix our history but we can do our part to heal so it does not repeat itself again.

We can’t just think about a better world, we have to do the inner work (the kind that is uncomfy AF) to create it.

We can’t just will our future ancestors to be better, we have to be the ones to lay down the ground work.

My parents and their parents didn’t have the means to emotionally regulate, they were just worried about surviving.

YOU and I though… we have the privilege to do better.

THIS is the work that I do with my clients. We weave ancestral healing from our yoga flows to our coaching sessions.

My story is full of trials, valleys, and heartbreaks — but also incredible breakthroughs and deep healing. One thing I know in my bones is that every one of those roads led me right here…

Yep, I am not even kidding ya!!

Needless to say, I thanked them for sharing and kept it moving.

The messages and whispers from my Spirit team are much louder and I know better than to question this calling.

Sis, I am all about the rituals.

I looooove me a good portal day.

AND!

If we aren’t doing the inner work behind all of these- it’s just going to fall flat.

With any tools we are given by our ancestors, Spirit guides, God *insert your word* we have to take the time to use it with reverence.

Heal the underlining story or susto [stuck trauma] as we curanderas call it.

📣We cannot repress all our emotions but light all the candles and still expect ourselves to grow.

📣We cannot pull all the oracles cards and not take action and still expect ourselves to manifest.

So on this powerful 8/8 Lion’s portal day- check yourself before your reck yourself (have I just aged myself 😅 )

All sillies aside- with all the love as your friendly somatic witch and curandera prima … take some time to reflect.

I was 5 when my family immigrated to the United States.

That journey of leaving everything familiar behind was so traumatizing for my body.

It wasn’t until I was in my late 20’s that I learned how to release that trauma from my body and learn to cultivate safety WITHIN me.

Dad couldn’t save me.
My master’s degree couldn’t secure me.
My friends couldn’t do it for me either.

It was me that held the key to unlock the gateway in which I connected to Source, my ancestors, my guides that held my hand on the darkest of nights to let go and reclaim ✨SAFETY.

These past few months my safety has been feeling wobbly.
Threatened.
Activated.

😮‍💨And it’s in these days that I anchor deeper into my spiritual practices that remind me,

I AM SAFE.
I AM HELD.
I AM PROTECTED.

Sister, if you have been needing to feel this sense of safety but it feels out of reach.
