If your fiber sources are on repeat…
👉 your microbiome is too.

And that matters more than most people realize.

Fiber isn’t just about “being regular.” 💩

It’s about:
✔ stable energy ⚡
✔ fewer cravings 🍫
✔ better digestion 🌿
✔ supporting your metabolism 🔥

And most people?
Are getting about half of what they need 😬
🥦🥑🍓🌱

In my new blog post, I break down:
👉 how much fiber you actually need
👉 where to get it
👉 why variety matters
👉 and how to actually make it work in real life (no overhaul necessary, I promise)

We’ve been taught to eat less.

But most women I work with don’t need less…
They need better support.

And one of the most overlooked pieces?

Fiber.

Not just for digestion (and yes, regularity 😉).

But also SO important for:
 ✔️ blood sugar stability
 ✔️ energy
 ✔️ cravings
 ✔️ metabolism
 ✔️ nervous system regulation

And here’s the part most people miss:

👉 Variety matters.

If your fiber sources are on repeat…
your microbiome is too.

Over the past year, the way I approach metabolism has shifted.
Not completely—but in a really important way.

For a long time (especially in midlife), the focus has been on:
protein
calories
macros
more discipline

And those things absolutely matter.

But what I kept seeing with the women I work with was this:

They were doing a lot of the “right” things… and still felt exhausted, stuck and frustrated in their bodies.

And the more I looked at it, the more it became clear:
It wasn’t just about what they were eating.
It was about what their body was experiencing.
Chronic stress
Under-fueling
Blood sugar swings
A nervous system that never really felt settled 🧠

So I started shifting how I work with clients.
Less pushing.
More stabilizing.
More focusing on the nervous system alongside nutrition.

And honestly?
It’s where I’m seeing the biggest changes:
✨ more energy
✨ better digestion
✨ more ease with food
✨ and yes—body composition changes too

This is now a core part of how I run my Metabolic Reset program.
Not forcing change.
Creating the conditions where change can actually happen.

👉 Stop shrinking. Start stabilizing.

If you’ve been feeling stuck in your body lately, this might be the missing piece 💛

I’ll be talking more about this on tomorrow’s podcast 🎙️

If this resonates, I’d love to hear what’s been feeling off for you lately.

Your metabolism doesn’t need more restriction.

It needs better support.

Here’s exactly what I keep in my grocery cart for stable energy, blood sugar, and a metabolism that actually cooperates 👇

Most people think metabolic health starts with eating less.
In reality, it often starts with what you put in your grocery cart.

You don’t fix metabolism by eating less.
You support metabolism by creating stable signals for your body—steady blood sugar, adequate nourishment and a nervous system that isn’t constantly running on stress chemistry.

And one of the simplest places that starts?
The grocery store. (Totally unsexy, but true.)

When your cart is stocked with foods that support blood sugar stability, gut health and nervous system regulation, balanced meals become much easier during the week.

On the blog today I’m sharing:
🥗 20 foods I recommend keeping on hand
🧠 Why they support metabolic and nervous system health
🔑 How to build a “metabolic regulation grocery cart”

Plus, I made a simple grocery list you can screenshot or download for your next grocery trip.

Many people assume their metabolism just “breaks” in midlife.

Energy crashes. Digestion gets weird. Weight suddenly feels stubborn.

But often the missing piece isn’t stricter food rules.

It’s nervous system regulation.

On the blog today I’m sharing 3 simple nutrition habits that help support your nervous system and stabilize energy:
• eating real meals consistently
• slowing down enough to digest
• balancing protein, fiber and healthy fats

Small shifts like these send powerful signals of safety and stability to the body.

Today’s podcast episode is a big one.

We talk about how most metabolisms aren’t broken.
They’re stressed.

And metabolic health isn’t built through restriction—it’s built through regulation.

If you feel like your metabolism suddenly stopped working in your 40s… you’re not crazy.

And your metabolism probably isn’t broken.
It might be stressed.

I just published a new piece about why nervous system regulation plays a huge role in metabolism, digestion, energy and stubborn midlife weight.

If this sounds familiar, I think you’ll appreciate this one.

🎙️New Elegantly Unhinged podcast episode is live!

Heart health isn’t just cholesterol.
It’s stress physiology.
It’s sleep.
It’s blood sugar.

If your nervous system is stuck in fight-or-flight, optimizing your numbers won’t move the needle.

Midlife bodies don’t need more discipline.
They need more regulation.

In this episode, I break down:
✨ Why stress is a cardiometabolic event
✨ The sleep–blood sugar connection
✨ Why under-fueling backfires
✨ What steadiness actually looks like

You can’t out-discipline dysregulation.

Falling off happens.
The shame and stress spike that follows doesn’t have to.

When you push through exhaustion, your body doesn’t read that as discipline. It reads it as stress.

Stress affects your nervous system.Your nervous system affects blood sugar.Blood sugar affects heart health.

So if you’re off track this week (like me!🙋‍♀️) — stabilize.
✨ Eat something real✨ Move your body gently✨ Sleep a little more✨ Breathe slower

Then return.

No guilt. No shame.
