A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at St. Matthew African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1006 Morse Street, Greensboro, AL, at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Stephanie Davis, Host Pastor. The body will lie in state for one hour preceding the service. Interment will follow at Sarah Christian Cemetery, Greensboro, AL. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 10th, at 11:00 a.m. At the family's request, there will be no public viewing. Due to inclement weather, the service has been moved to Mars Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 9974 County Road 16, Greensboro, AL. Interment will follow in Mickens Cemetery, located on Eaton Quarters Road. We take comfort in the promise that Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.
