UNCG Virtual Environment for Assessment and Rehabilitation Laboratory

UNCG Virtual Environment for Assessment and Rehabilitation Laboratory The mission of the Applied Neuromechanics Lab is to further understand Motor Behavior

As we navigate the environment, we must continually adapt our gait to avoid or accommodate obstacles such as stairs, other people or moving cars. After an injury, aging, or pathology, the ability to adapt gait to the environment is compromised, leading to an increased risk of falling and injury. The VEAR Lab is working on smartphone and virtual reality solutions to enhance the assessment and rehabilitation of patients who have difficulty with walking or balance.

Have you engaged with physical therapy in the past? If so, please consider completing the survey below, which is part of Danielle Felsberg's dissertation in our PhD program. She is interested in people's perceptions of potentially using virtual reality in physical therapy from those who have engaged with a physical therapist in the past. Feel free to share or send the link to anyone in your network who may have worked with a PT previously. We appreciate any help you can provide with recruiting current/former PT patients for Danielle's dissertation 🙂

Thank you for your interest in participating in this survey. First, please read the consent form below. If you decide to participate in this survey, you'll be asked a series of questions about yourself and your feelings toward the use of virtual reality (VR). Answer the questions to the best of your...
