Cedar Hill Physical Therapy & Wellness Center Paul the Physical Therapist spent the two decades prior to opening Cedar Hill Physical Therapy and W Aches and pains got you down? It was a stressful job.

Paul Weiss, PT, Dip MDT will get you moving again using a combination of patient education, manual therapy, and prescription exercise. Paul is Greensboro's only Diplomate of the McKenzie Institute. The McKenzie Method is a proven way to empower you to control your pain, and allow you to do what you enjoy! The Diploma represents successful completion of the highest level of training and testing. "About 100 years ago, I told Angie that when I retire I want a room in the house so that if someone was in pain, I could help them. At the time, I was managing the Spine Physical Therapy department for a large orthopedic practice. I came home from work one particularly stressful day, and Angie asked me why I was going to wait to do things the way I wanted to. I couldn't answer that question. Angie decided to leave teaching to allow me to have my dream job. In 2009 we dedicated 3 rooms in our house. These would be an office for Angie, an exam room, and a gym. It is a unique environment that allows me to focus on the people I work with: One at a time." -Paul

Our sports, hobbies, and favorite pastimes are an important part of overall wellness. As a runner, the benefits are pretty obvious. As a nature photographer, they’re quieter and more subtle, but every bit as restorative, grounding, and good for us.

Something remarkable happened right here in the Triad: a baseball stadium fell quiet.

Paul shares what he and Angie learned from the Venerable Monks of the 2,300-mile Walk for Peace, in High Point—and how mindfulness can play a real, practical role in pain relief and physical therapy.

“Healing doesn’t always come from doing more. Sometimes it comes from noticing more.”

Sometimes the most profound lessons arrive in the most unexpected ways, such as a group of Venerable Monks on a Walk for Peace. On October 26, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas, 19 Buddhist monks began what is projected to be a 2,300-mile pilgrimage on foot. One step at a time, they are walking from Texas....

Along with its polyphenols, olive oil contains other antioxidants like vitamin E and squalene. These all help to reduce inflammation and oxidative stress, both of which can cause cell damage and disease, said Elena M. Then, after a seemingly fatal diagnosis, Eric Borstein made a conscious decision to fight back through movement.

Bornstein collapsed from a massive right heart failure in 2020 and was diagnosed with pulmonary arterial hypertension. Given just months to live, he began walking laps in the intensive care unit and continued the routine after leaving the hospital.

Nearly four years later, Bornstein has regained significant heart function. Now known as 'the Walking Guy,' he has logged more than 14,500 miles."
