"Suggestions that acetaminophen use in pregnancy causes autism are not only highly concerning to clinicians but also irresponsible when considering the harmful and confusing message they send to pregnant patients, including those who may need to rely on this beneficial medicine during pregnancy."
— Steven J. Fleischman, MD, MBA, FACOG, President of ACOG

With recent statements circulating about acetaminophen use in pregnancy, we want to set the record straight.

❓ Pap Smear vs. Pelvic Exam: What’s the Difference? ❓

Many people think they’re the same — but they’re not!

👩‍⚕️ Pelvic Exam

A physical exam of the reproductive organs

Checks for infections, fibroids, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain, or other concerns

May include use of hands and a speculum

Not always needed yearly — it depends on your age, health, and symptoms

🧪 Pap Smear (Pap Test)

A screening test for cervical cancer

Done during a pelvic exam by collecting cells from the cervix

Detects changes caused by HPV

Usually every 3–5 years, starting at age 21

✅ Key Takeaway:
A pelvic exam checks your reproductive organs, while a Pap smear screens specifically for cervical cancer.

💡 Ever wonder if it’s really worth tracking your menstrual cycle? The answer is yes!
Here’s why ⬇️
✔️ Get to know your body & your “normal”
✔️ Spot changes or irregularities early
✔️ Understand fertility — for conceiving or preventing
✔️ Notice hormonal shifts (hello, 30s and 40s 👋)
✔️ Plan around vacations, events, and daily life
✔️ Protect your long-term health — missed cycles can be a sign of low estrogen, which affects your bones and heart

A few notes on a calendar or app can tell you a LOT about your health. 📲✨

❌Myth: You need a Pap Smear every year.
✨Truth: Depending on your age and history, a Pap Smear test is usually only needed every 3–5 years.

But don’t skip your annual visit!
✅ Yearly check-ins with your Gynecologist are still very important to discuss:

👉Any new symptoms or concerns
👉Birth control options
👉Family planning & future goals
👉STI testing and overall health

🌸Your yearly visit is about more than just a Pap.🌸

💧 I’m in my 30s and my sweat is CHANGING. Why?

It’s not just you! Women’s bodies naturally change as we age, and that can affect sweat and body odor.
✨ Hormones
✨ Metabolism shifts
✨ Life stresses

Some women even begin experiencing early perimenopause in their mid to late 30s, which can also impact sweat.

If you’ve noticed a change, you may need to experiment with different deodorants or body washes to find the best new fit for your body.

💤 Top Tips for Better Sleep 💤

✨ Stick to a schedule – Try to go to bed and wake up around the same time every day, even on weekends.
✨ Better your environment – Keep your room cool, dark, and quiet (or use a white noise machine).
✨ Limit stimulating substances – Avoid caffeine in the afternoon and evening.
✨ Electronics – Blue light can interfere with sleep. Turn off devices 30–60 minutes before bedtime and swap for a book or coloring to help your mind relax.

Sweet dreams! 😴🌙
