Honoring Our Heroes at The Elms 🎖️

As we reflect on Veterans Day (November 11th) and wrap up Memory Care Week, we are proud to recognize two of our beloved residents and Veterans: Mr. James (Jim) Decker and Mr. James (Jim) Elder.

Mr. Decker faithfully served in the United States Army, and his wife shared a beautiful biography capturing his dedication, accomplishments, and the incredible moments from his time in service.

Mr. Elder, a proud United States Navy Veteran, has preserved a remarkable legacy through photographs and memories that speak volumes about his courage and commitment.

Please take a moment to celebrate these extraordinary men, their service, and the stories that continue to inspire us every day. ❤️

We’ve been having a blast at The Elms celebrating Memory Care Week! 💜
Memory Care truly matters to us, and we’re so proud to honor our dedicated care staff and our wonderful residents who bring so much life, laughter, and love to these walls. Every day is a celebration of compassion, connection, and the moments that make a difference.

On Tuesday, we refreshed and recharged with a smoothie cart serving delicious smoothies made right on the spot! 🍓🥤
Then on Wednesday, it was all about wellness — everyone enjoyed relaxing 5-minute hand massages and received holistic goodie bags filled with essential oils, soothing eye patches, and scented hand creams. 💆‍♀️🌿
