One of the hardest parts of becoming a parent is realizing your babies will never get to meet their great-grandparents, the people who meant everything to you.

It hits me every time I think about my grandma. The hugs, the stories, the kind of love that only comes once in a lifetime.

Knowing my kids won’t get to experience that kind of love firsthand feels like a different kind of heartbreak.

I wish they could’ve felt her warmth, heard her laugh, or seen the way she lit up a room just by walking into it.

Instead, they’ll know her through the memories I carry and the stories I’ll never stop telling.

She may not be here to hold them, but she’ll always be part of who they are.❤️🫂

Family recipes and traditions are a meaningful way of keeping your loved ones memories alive. This recipe is from Nichole's Gramps who has passed. Her brother has the responsibility of bringing the stuffing each year to the holiday meals in memory of Gramps. By doing this they keep the memory alive of their beloved Grandpa whom they miss everyday.
