ADS is a non-profit organization that helps to reduce the impact of substance use in our community b ADS has a commitment to excellence.

It is our goal to provide the individuals and families we serve with compassion and support through offering the highest quality services. ADS began with the understanding that people can and do change and that recovery is possible. ADS began with a commitment to a better future – for every one of us affected by substance use and addiction. The origins of our agency began in Guilford County in 1971. ADS is the result of several mergers which brought together years of expertise and key providers of alcohol and drug prevention and treatment services in Guilford County. As a result, ADS has a long and established history of providing high-quality care for people suffering from addiction to alcohol and other drugs.
