Sometimes the best team-building move is a skip day ⚾️

Today we closed the office, stepped away from the busy, and snuck out for a game. We spent time in the Left Field Lounge and, before first pitch, had the opportunity to hear from their president, Travis Williams about how the Pittsburgh Pirates contribute to a strong, thriving Pittsburgh region both on and off the field.

We spent the afternoon connecting, laughing, and enjoying the kind of moments that remind us why balance matters. Grateful to share it with our friend Dr. Mike and to meet Andrew Stockey from WTAE

A good reminder that strong teams are built just as much outside the office as they are within it.

Pause for a second with this.

Most people don’t realize how much tension they’re carrying until they’re already overwhelmed. Your jaw tightens. Your shoulders lift. Your thoughts start racing—and suddenly everything feels urgent.

Before you try to fix it, solve it, or figure it all out… regulate first.

This is your reminder that you don’t need to have all the answers right now. You just need to come back to yourself.

Try this today and notice what shifts.

If this resonates, it might be time to build tools that actually support your nervous system—not just push through it.

You’re not “too nice.”
You learned how to stay safe.

Fawning can look like:
saying yes when you mean no
over-explaining
avoiding conflict
losing touch with what you actually feel

At some point, this response protected you.
But now—it might be costing you your voice.

You don’t have to keep showing up this way.

We’re hosting a workshop to help you break the fawn response and rebuild self-trust.

Pause for a second.
What are you consuming every day, and how is it shaping you?
Your thoughts, your mood, even your sense of self can be influenced by what your algorithm feeds you.
If your feed leaves you feeling:
• anxious
• not enough
• overwhelmed
• disconnected
…it might not be “you.” It might be your environment.
You can curate your digital space the same way you care for your mental health.
Follow accounts that ground you.
Mute what drains you.
Protect your peace.
If you’re feeling stuck, therapy can help you sort out what’s yours—and what’s been shaped around you.

Pause for a moment and check in with yourself.

What emotion have you been avoiding lately?

Avoidance can feel protective in the moment, but awareness is what actually creates change. When you name what you’re feeling, you create space to respond instead of react.

If you’re open to it, share one word below.

If you’ve been feeling stuck or disconnected, therapy can help you build this awareness in a way that feels safe and manageable.

Schedule your first session through the link in bio or call 878-884-7158.
